Roschon is electrifying bro , something that can't be taught , we talk about him all the time at Mr. Eddie's barbershop , a few knew your pops , and called him by name , but man how lovely it would be if he was in red & black lol , nah but on a serious note the boy legit , especially for his age , I just hope we can slow him down next week..

Better rethink that. It's probably going to be against BH. This time, we might hang 60 on them.
Actually, disregard that. It looks like it might shape to a BH/PNG matchup. That would be interesting.

Congratulations Indians on a great game. You guys made the adjustments at halftime and got to keep your onsides kick. We had no answer for the deep ball and need to work on that. I think something on our offense was brought out tonight...we get way too conservative in our play calling in the second half. You guys made the adjustment on defense stacking the right side (short side) which for some reason we kept going to over and over. Offensive coordinator nearly got Mav beat to death. It happens every game and we really need to look at that. If I can call the plays.... The onsides we had in the first half may have been the worst call by the referees I've seen in high school football and blatantly obvious. That was a momentum killer. Anyway, y'all deserved to win, you were the better team tonight and good luck the rest of the way in district.
BTW, now we get two games against y'all and nederville in vidor in a row, correct?

I have no team in this fight but does Vidor ever commit penalties or give up touchdowns legitimately? Seems like I always see touchdown refs, mid county refs, or something to that extent

Of course my friend. I work GI Colo and Abdominal. This is the place for her to be.
I've had fun messing with the PNG folks this week. Tried my hand at trash talk and probably failed miserably. But there are so many things in life more important than high school football. I've stuck on this board so long because it is a very good disreaction for me on bad days.
Win or lose...i just hope for a safe game.

My take after watching some PNG video:
PNGs offense is pretty darn efficient at quick outside screens, pick plays and wrs hold their blocks. They throw better and more often to their right. Big reciever #11 is strong and athletic.
My take of after watching Vidor video:
Vidors weakness on defense is exactly where PNGs offensive strong suits are. Advantage PNG !
Although Vidor will move the ball.
PNG 42
Vidor 24

Indianforever reacted to Cougar14.2 in BH Vs. Splendora
You do realize the after you were embarrassed by BH the next five team you beat currently have a combined record of 9-18, right? IDK how you include anything about beating 1-5 Nederland when they already lost to Dayton at home in regulation and Dayton has basically lost to everybody else on their schedule. Not beating them at home in 35 years shows how bad and how long y'all have truly sucked, not how good y'all are this year for beating a down version of them.
I know y'all are so thirsty for a decent product in Vidor you won't be able to see it that way, but when PNG blows y'all out this weekend you should just go ahead and drop your boys completely out of the top 10. At that point the two best team you played would've both beaten y'all by multiple tds but I'm sure you would find some justification to leave them in there. Maybe then you'll realize what you are instead of speculating on what you might be.

Agreed, same goes for Vidor. You don't want to give PNG extra opportunities they are too good of a team. If it is a turnover free game it will be fun to watch.

Indianforever reacted to Cougar14.2 in It's official!
Lol, I wonder how some of the "it's not official yet" Ned fans spin that one. The eligibility waiver wasn't approved, Neumann knew that AND STILL decided to play the kid anyway. When he saw what he was dealing with this year he just got desperate for the W, or is that still considered speculation now that the DEC basically relayed that notion with their 7-0 vote?

I owe you lunch for that one 14.2.......
Mathews runs the slot for one reason.. Its the best offense to run for smaller, less talented teams.. That is not a knock, just a fact.. Google would verify that I am sure. Since I have been asked to keep my name calling to a minimum, I will stick to the facts. IMO, the slot is one dimensional.. If its is ineffective for Vidor during any game, there chances of winning that game are slim to none.. However, if it is effective, there chances of winning are around 33% usually.. A few years I am sure the averages are higher.. I honestly do not think PNG will stop Vidor cold in there tracks. I do think they will slow them down enough to put themselves in a position to win the game. Just like any game Vidor plays against a spread team.. If for some reason PNG gets up on them, they will need to have the ability to score quick.. Ball control is not going to be able to get it done... But if they can pound the rock and keep it close, they have the ability to win. I think PNG playing at home helps tremendously.. I think history helps tremendously... And I think the fact that noone is overlooking Vidor at this point is the last piece of the puzzle... Any other year besides the 4 or 5 in the history, these games are overlooked as stat builders.. But at this time, its do or die.. Ill take my chances with ole Fairclothe on this one.... He is going to do whatever needs to be done to win this game IMO.... I say it all the time about PAM... Its alot easier to coach when you have the best athletes on the field... And I think PNG has the better athletes in this one.. No stats, or histories, just 11 on 11... Strap em up... I know for one the PNG kids are ready for this one, think your going to see a lil SWAG.......
