If you cant get the 16 or 17 year old up then find a kid that will. Let the kids control the enviroment then your program will go up and down. The coach controls the enviroment then you have Ned. and Dayton, 10 straight playoff trips.

If a team only plays to their opponents skill level who's fault is that. I have seen people comparing Stowers to Stewart. Stowers two years of head coaching. Stewart 16 season as head coach. Fourteen years in the playoffs. When he went to Clear Lake they sucked, when he went to the school up north they sucked and when he went to Dayton they had won like 8 games in 5 years. His first year at each school they went to the playoffs. Stowers is a good coach but please dont compare the two just yet.

Sounds like Dayton is in big trouble. LCM has shut out its last two opponents. We will have to see who has the best defense, the BEARS or the Broncos. It will be fun. Dayton do you have what it takes, that is all I ask.

First of all Matt you need to stop talking about 15-18 year olds. You know nothing about the kids from Dayton. Dirty Dayton what a joke. They play hard and they fear one thing and that is losing. Comes from their head coach. So please stop saying negative things about high school kids. Trust me the coach has these young men under control. Thanks for the talking though, just adds fuel to the fire. All they have heard is how they were going to battle between 4th and 7th place. When the whistle blows they will be in a frenzy Friday night, it is the only way they know how to play.

Nederland and PNG have great tradition and the best fans in the world. It is amazing how many people support those 2 teams. How are their underclassman, are the varsity teams loaded with seniors or young players.

All I ever heard was how Dayton was going to get killed once they got into the Beaumont district. They beat a very improved Lumberton team, a down Ozen team. Vidor will be a tough test, then LCM who hammered PNG. After listening to the radio Nederland fans promised that Dayton would lose to Vidor and get killed by the bulldogs.

First of all the Broncos had more pen. in the game than Lumberton did. The 1st personal foul was a good call. The second personal foul was after 2 Lumberton players hit # 1 after the whistle and then # 1 pushed him. #1 should not have done that and he is a great young man and he was sorry for that. If # 12 for yall would have played it would not have made a difference. # 44 is just a mouth not a player. After the game he told # 9 that he was lucky that he didnt play. There was no reason for that. I hope #44 gets well for he can have a good season. Good Lumberton for the rest of the season.

Ok here are the facts. Purple pride you are very kind but mislead a bit. Cody Green #21 is the starting QB and he is a sophmore. He played the whole game for experience. Mike Dugat played only 1 series in the 3rd quarter. The starting wr's were sitting on the bench in the middle of the 3rd quarter. The starting offensive line and defensive line did not play in the 4th quarter. Every kid on the team played by the 1st series in the 4th quarter. With 4 minutes to go in the game Dayton ran 5 qb sneaks in a row when Dayton was inside the 15. Coach Stewart would not let the offense score any more.

First of all I have seen Lumberton play and 44 is far from being a star player. I talked to quite a few Broncos and I can not believe how fired up they are. They are extremely excited about playing this football game. I have not seen Dugat more ready to run in a long time. Should be a great game. I may have to miss my Crosby game to go and see this one. I have read that Lumberton is really good. PS Just in case we meet in the playoffs Crosby has said nothing.
