Thanks Englebert--I knew that PN-G'S game followed the Katy vs Garland game, just didn't realize that it was the '99 state game. I too have been fortunate enough to have attended all of PN-G'S record games. Lots of memories and fun! Hopefully we can set some more attendance records this year in the play-offs!

I am hoping for a Bulldog victory(no direspect to Vidor)so we can get 2 mid-county schools to the play-offs. However, is it to much to ask of the new Q.B. to take this additional burden on? Afterall, he has only been Q.B. for only 1 game, right? I have not had the chance to see him play, but I hope for the Bulldogs that he is that good. Good Luck Dogs!

I gotta go with PN-G, but I know that Central's Def. is really tough too! I give the edge to PN-G because of all the turn-overs that they have created. Total at last count was  +22 after 8 games. That's pretty tough!

Good posts by pngfan66 and bcjag09. I think as the play-offs near it is natural as a fan to be curious about possible opponents for your team. Even if you don't play another team, real football fans respect what other teams are accomplishing i.e.Lake Travis, Southlake Carrol, Angleton, etc. The possibility of seeing other good teams this time of year is exciting to all fans! IMHO

Good luck to Ned. in this one. Gonna back the Dogs in this one (no disrespect to Vidor). Would love to see them make it to the play-offs!

'66  Coaches from 2 teams meet and flip a coin for home/visitor determination for their respective play-off game. Sometimes it's hard to secure a neutral site large enough for a 1st rd. play-off game because of all the games being played. Hopefully, Coach Faircloth can make arrangements for a site ahead of time, once it has been determined for sure that PN-G is in.

NO--- PN-G is going in with the PN-G game plan! That one has been working great all year, no need to change IMHO!

you really are not doing your team any justice by saying that if they don't make the play-offs, then the teams that do won't get very far. Half of the district is going, if your team doesn't then don't put the others down because you are mad and disappointed! Every team gets lucky and/or unlucky breaks through the season. It's the teams that adjust to those breaks the best that end up succeeding. Don't bring your team down by whining about what coulda/shoulda been!

Gotta agree with Coop on this one--If Stephenville drops to 3A then they would definitely be state ranked from the start. Thats a good program over their--always have liked them, except in '99 when they beat PN-G!
