Good point shovelhead, you seem to always dig in the right spots. I wouldn't see too many game results classed as an "upset". TOO many close teams--should be exciting!

Hey PNGFan, if the teams that PN-G are playing get their motivation to play from a message board, then they definitely have a problem. Last time I checked, the fans posting on this message board are not playing in the games!

Seriously, we can make all kinds of predictions, and everyone pick the team closest to their heart, but when all is said and done it is a very tough district and it's going to be fun watching how it turns out! I hope this district can put a school in both State Title games--that would really be awesome!1 Good Luck Everyone and best of Health to all players!! ;D

I agree with you Pirate, outside my own 40yd. Ln. I would do it, but inside your own 10yd. Ln.--that takes guts (or a crazy streak ). I guess you would really have to believe in your system.

Kind of hard to say now who will make it--it's still so early and no dist. games have been played. I think they have just as good a shot as the other 7 teams in dist. do.

GOOD post setxgal! A teacher definitely has a different perspective on this issue.

We are not worried about the "wheels coming off",and we are well aware of the teams in this district. I think you left some out--Ozen,LCM,and Livingston--maybe they don't mean anything to you, but I bet they mean a great deal to their fans. We won't take anyone lightly and our emphasis will be on all of the teams, not just 4.

We should never give-up trying to teach our youth sportsmanship and class. They see enough negative ways to behave every day in real life. Respect for your opponent after any hard-fought athletic event is great, and who knows, maybe our athletes actually enjoy telling their peers on the other team what a great job they did!

You do a great job YankeeDawg--that wasn't directed at you, just some people tried to make more out of that post than was there. YankeeDawg--you always do a great job of encouraging and I know everyone on here appreciates it!
