Yeah--vidor is better too, but they aren't good enough yet to beat PN-G, Lumberton, and Central. I see them maybe going for 3rd or 4th.

I think a lot of people have gotten off point from the original topic of this post. It was simply an encouraging remark made from an Odessa Permian fan for the PN-G fans.This O.P. fan was saying to PN-G fans that he thought we had a great coachand that the coach would help PN-G to turn things around. This fan was extending his hopes for PN-G to have a great season. This fan was being a polite and encouraging individual, and I think more of us should be that way.

I think the College and Professional teams have forgotten about their roots. They started playing football (most of them) for the love of the game. I think to shake your opponents hand after a hard fought game is a sign of mutual respect, for the effort that was given during the game.

As much as I love the PN-G / NED district, you have to go with DFW. Ther are some amazing teams in that area!

I agree with UgotTRUCKED, I think BH will be, and is, a fine team. I was very impressed with them during the PN-G game. They fought the whole time and never gave up. Good luck to BH and their fans on a successful district run and advancing to the play-offs!

Good job Gabe--you give us all something to think about. I'm sure most people appreciate the time and effort that goes in to creating, and maintaining the subject matter on this web-site. They have probably had scouts there for three games because Vidor is their 1st district game and those are the one's that matter--that's what gets you to the play-offs. Even though we want our teams to win all of their games--district is what counts! It is going to be a tough district this year, and there will probably be a big log-jam of teams the last weekend fighting it out.

Definitely the PN-G staff. The changes from top to bottom have been outstanding. I have not seen this much energy and excitement from a PN-G team in a long time. I know some people will say it is too soon to make an evaluation of this staff, but from a fans view-point things couldn't be any better!

shovelhead I agree, what a crowd last night and what a blast that game was. I talked to 2 PN-G players today and they said that the crowd was amazing and as loud as they could remember. It really excited them and they were very fired-up!! They said keep it coming that it really inspires them!!

Actually I think he had @160yds for the game, and 125yds was in the 2nd half. I am sure some of the stat gurus on here can find the actual number. Great job Caleb--keep up the good work!!

Great analysis pngfan66--I totally agree! Though we didn't always fire on all cylinders on offense, it was a great over-all team effort! What a great boost for the team's confidence to win a game in over-time! They have 2 weeks to work on some things and get ready for a very tough district schedule. p.s. refs not even worth talking about!
