It will be a great game with a lot of offensive fireworks. Definitely worth the price of admission to see Manziel and the Tivy team against LT and their spread offense.

Hey Stevieray--Did you go to the Brownwood vs. Stephenville game? Are you going to catch the Brownwood play-off game at Stephenville's stadium friday?

I agree with Scooter--Brownwood is a very,very,very good team. Yes, any team is beatable, but Brownwood is the real deal. I've had the oppurtunity to see them play in person this year, and they were very impressive. I hope for the sake of the teams in region 3 that you do not underestimate them.

My bad Soulja!! Central is definitely a great represenative of 20-4A in D-1. I should proof before I post! fwstangs: the reference to Friendswood was originally started by another poster--all in the spirit of competitive board fun I'm sure. Afterall, these boards are only meant to be a soothing distraction from our otherwise busy, and hectic lives. Relax and enjoy!!

That was the same year we played Stephenville baddog. Kendall Briles was too much for us to handle and they beat us.

Easy fwstangs--I do not get on here and brag or bash others. I think it's great that people get excited over their teams and are passionate about them. I do not, and will not make disrespectful, or class-less personal attacks on anyone. I think this should all be just in fun. If you have taken offense, then please accept my most humble apologies. But I must pull for the Central Jaguars because they are the 20-4a champs and will represent southeast Texas in D-2. I do hope that if Central meets you--they beat you, and proceed through to the state game!! :)

Thanks Jack!! I hope the Indians bring their "A" game and take care of business with Willis. They have been focused now for the last 6 weeks--it would be awesome to maintain that focus,and the victories for another 5 weeks!!

Thanks baddog! I hope we can have another PN-G / Nederland double header play-off in the future. The last time we did that, our game wasn't over until 1:15 am. That brings back some memories of playing in the dome.

Ouch!! why oh why would you want to call me names?? I said Indians love BISD--which would include Central, and by extension that would include you(if you really are a Central fan and not just posing as one).Well maybe you will have a change of heart and come to love the Indians as we love you--I will even keep a purple shirt ready for you(size small of course).

WOW--getting a little slow! It took 1 hour and 27 minutes to get a response!!Make no mistake about it mamajag--ALL of Indian Nation would go to Houston if we had to--but, alas--we don't have to. It seems we again have the great fortune to play in Beaumont, for which I am extremely glad for--keep the money and the tax dollars in the local economy is what I say! BISD loves the Indians--and the Indians love BISD. I hope we can play all of our games here!!

The only one that seems to be sensitive about the "butch", is mamajag. I think the stadium is nice, and it sure beats traveling to the Houston area. It feels like a home game in Beaumont--plus more people will be there since you don't have to travel far. PN-G will be Visitors.  There was some confusion over that earlier.

Great game by both teams. Congrat.'s to the Indians on their victory and moving to the next round. BH brought some of the hardest hits I have seen all year.

I have seen Brownwood in person on several occasions this year. They are more than a 1-dimensional team that just throws the ball to Shipley. They have 2 other outstanding receivers ,and 2 great running backs and their quarterback is a great athlete also. Their defense is very strong and last I saw they had @ +20 or so in turn-overs. It will take a very strong effort to defeat them.

SCOOTER: What's your connection with Brownwood? I have family that lives there and have been able to see a couple of games this year. I hope to make a couple play-off games and for sure the state game when they make it.

Shipley is an amazing player. I had the oppurtunity to see Brownwood earlier this year and they are definitely a well coached and talented team. Shipley has had 13 punt / K.O. return touchdowns this season--18 receiving T.D.'s.
