I don't care who Vidor has played. 3 rushers with 300+ yards in three games is impressive. It shows the options that they have.

Nederland at Friendswood Predictions?
NDNTime replied to GoDogs27's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
I don't think that the dogs will pull this one out, but I do believe this will do wonders for preparing the dogs for district. With that being said, you can never count the dogs out of a game. I know that friendswood will be in for a fight friday night. -
Harmon rushes for 125 as PNG outlasts Texas City
NDNTime replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Article had 160 in the body of the writeup, not sure why the 125 was in the headline. Because it is the Beaumont Enterprise. -
Well now the trash talking will come to an end! Central is next!!!! ;D That should be the "game of the week" IMHO. Good luck to both teams.
-
I think that you should run the numbers against district opponents. You could have 2 sections. One section with season totals and one section for games played within the district totals.
-
If you feel your district is tough, which I agree.....tough in this manner is...Teams are equal, doesn't mean there better. The level of competition is equal in 20-4A...slide WB in there, and there's not a question on who's district Champ...WB! We've already beat your number 1 and beat them last year. And will do it again next year! Who have you guys played?? I'd put money on the fact that if WB were to play in 20-4A, they would have 2 losses. I don't know which teams would beat them, but having to play at an extremely high level every week would catch up to WB. Also, I think that if Central and WB played mid-season, the outcome from friday night would be in the opposite direction with Central getting the win. WB is not far ahead of what 20-4A brings to the table. I would believe 20-4A is making strides to surpass what WB does on the field. Thats just my 2 cents on WB.

Hey to all my PNG faithful, Let football04 and others keep running their mouths. Let our boys show Vidor what they can expect on the field. They are running their mouths because this is the 1st time Vidor has had anything to be happy about. Seriously, when was the last time that Vidor even had a prayer of making the playoffs? So, let Vidor revel in their 2 wins over Pop Warner teams. Let them gloat about their prolific offensive numbers. When they come to the Rez, they will be in for the fight of their lives.

PN-G vs Texas City Predictions
NDNTime replied to Indianforever's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
It appears that TC has a really good ground game. Last night against Alvin, their tailback had 34 rushes for 271 yds. By the looks of the stats, this game had nothing but offense for both teams though. I'm certain that the Indians will be able to move the ball all night on TC. The key will be making several key stops on D. -
*PN-G vs. Crosby Updates/PN-G WINS!
NDNTime replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
I thought I heard that it will be streamed at noon. -
Hey bluejay, We are talking resumes here. What is it that your team has that would be so impressive? The answer is likely nothing since all you can do is bash the "injuns"
-
yes you had a good football team.......IN THE 70'S. the purpose of that post was to stress that just because we got beat by a really good team, does not mean we suck.......And you haven't played anyone that good in a couple of years..... You are right. La Marque and Brenham, they were just push-overs when we played them.
-
Hey Hitman, Perhaps you could add PN-G to your lists of teams that ya'll have played with great playoff experience and a huge history. Let's see, PN-G has 3 state titles, 6 state finals, and a 3 National Ranking. Pretty Impressive.

I'm expecting to see some black and gold friday at the Reservation. The only question is, how much of that will be on the home side and how much of that will be over there with Crosby?
-
The RESERVATION once again! Can't wait!

THSF Class 5A - 2A Week 1 Rankings
NDNTime replied to TexasHSFootball's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
PN-G and Lumberton in the top 25. Vidor is not far behind. Looks to be a very competitive year in 20-4A. -
Crosby vs. Ennis/Ennis wins 62-16/Post comments here!!
NDNTime replied to NDNWarrior's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Looking at this score, I think that the PN-G/Crosby game next week will be a relatively high scoring game. I don't think PN-G played anywhere close to their potential on offense. And we all have been expecting Crosby to have a high-powered offense this season. I'm thinking its going to come down to turnovers next week. -

Lumberton vs. Barbers Hill Predictions?
NDNTime replied to KFDM COOP's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Lumberton should win this one. BH opened some eyes last night at PN-G. Viverette is a very athletic QB, but they seem to be lacking in the WR department. -
I'll be there at 6! Hopefully I'll be able to be within a half mile of the stadium..
-
At the RESERVATION! Can't wait to see what we bring to the table.

Silsbee??????????? Over Central, Nederland, and Livingston????? (not to mention Dayton and their state run in 2008) I'm from PN-G and I specifically don't argue their merit into the top 5 because of last year's performance, but 3 teams from 20-4A that made it to the playoffs with Central going 4-deep? Where is the logic?

PNG/ BH GAME WILL BE SHOWN SAT. AT NOON CH. 15!!
NDNTime replied to FOOTBALLFEVER99's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
I believe Bronco1 has it right. Last year we beat BH with, what turned out to be, a subpar PN-G team. In that game we still put up 19 points. Now, with a new offense that can score on any given play, I believe PN-G will put up quite a few more points than it did last year against BH. My question is how will the NDN D-Line perform. They were outsized by the Memorial O-Line, but made up for it with quickness and gap protection. I see the NDN's pulling this one out by a 2-TD margin.
