1.
PNG  35 Livingston 28 One hand catch in endzone by Jayce Nelson!  WooooHooooo!!!!!!!
Sounded like an amazing play!
 2. Brenham's cheerleaders are now in on offense.  They are still moving the ball down the field.  The drill team is stuffin MW's running game as well.
 3. Sounds like a good game here.
 4. Only because their D has been solid all night long.  Kick the extra point and let your D shut them down in 2OT.
 5. I was watching it, on mute of course since I'm listening to the radio.  Defensive struggle for sure.  I don't think I would have gone for 2 right there.
 6. Ok.  I'm leaving this site.  I can't stand the ads at the bottom of the screen.  They are interfering with my radio feed. Staying on the PNG site for tonight.
 7. I believe he is.  I think the announcers don't realize that Doty switched to number 12 for this game in honor of reggie garrett.  #12 is the number of the PNG back up QB.
 8. PNG first drive fizzled out at the Lions 30.  Lions first play runs the ball for about 58 yds to the NDNs 12.

 11. Wow.  How much were they up when they did this?

Just the smugness/arrogance of the majority of their fans.
How in the world can this perception change?  Everyone has their fair share of arrogant fans.  The majority of fans at PNG are in no way smug or arrogant.  Maybe we come across that way, but PNG supports their kids like no other, no matter what the event is.
Good question.  Answer:  It starts with you.  Yeah thats right, you can make a difference.   BTW-- the word "hater" when used to call a group of people out, tends to be offensive.  Therefore it tends to generate a defensive response.  That too would be another thing to consider when one might be trying to change anothers perception.
The context in which I used it was not calling a group out.  It is understood on this site that there are a lot of PNG haters out there.  As there are a lot of haters out there for other schools.  Ned had their fair share.  WOS has their fair share.  As does WB and Central.  I would say success is not something to gloat about (which happens a lot).  Rather, it is something to be proud of.  Success is not something to be thrown in another's face, but it should be used as an example for others to strive to attain. Whether one thinks PNG fans are arrogant is not for me to decide.  But I ask you guys not to mistake a support of our kids in all sports, academics, and all other extracurricular activities as arrogant.  I think an unwaivering support at such a high rate is not something that should be criticized.  It is something that should be strived for by all.
Did you post on the wrong thread? This was the thread for best fight song, not most widely known.  Best fight song has about as much to do with how well known it is as football has to do with tiddlywinks.  The two are not now, nor ever will be related.
Hmmm, this is why we have the this forum now isn't it?  So we can have a discussion.  Panama, maybe you could chime in on what the best fight song is.  What would like to offer me?  Something that sounds like everything else?  So here is an example that helps support my point:  Who has the best french fries:  McDonalds or John's Grill in Nederland?  I bet if you were to take a survey, almost every person would go with McDonalds.  Why?  Because those persons are familiar with it.  Not many people know of John's Grill and therefore can't, in good conscience, vote for them.  This holds true for all of the fight songs that people are listing.  No one knows what the songs are.  They all sound the same.  Cherokee has a bit of a uniqueness factor.  It sounds different than other songs.  It sticks with you whether you love it or hate it. Panama, just join the parade of haters of PNG and everything our community stands for.  You aren't the first.

 18.
I watched the game on the internet. PNG played well enough to win the game. Luck was going their way earlier in the game. Momentum shifted when GP completed a long pass that led to their first TD. It was the first game of the season and a high profile one at that. Both teams probably had the jitters. PNG had a droped pass that would have been a TD. The game could have gone either way. Only inches from a first down and PNG probably could have gotten a littler closer. Kicked the field goal and won. The coaches will have the team ready to play this Friday. I believe PNG has the team that could go the rest of the way to the play-offs and be 9-1. Time will tell. JMO Good luck to the Indians and all the other teams in that district.
Thanks for a rational evaluation of the game.  We don't see many of those on this board.
 19. Looks like it could be a one-man show with Merka at QB.  He had 3 rushing TD's last week.
 20. Um, back to PNG v. Crosby please..
 21.
Comments like that IDN Time is what keeps you and some other folks hammered. GP is a better team period.
Hey Husker, were you at the game?  Please indicate to me how GP is a better team?  People coming on here disrespecting our school and our colors is unacceptable, and I will ALWAYS defend them.  If trash is going to get talked, it can't go unimpeded.
