Well then why was Silsbee left off the schedule? We wanted to play, we signed up to play, we where on the original schedule. Then we bring up their mishap, we didn't want to break any UIL rules. So, Nederland made another schedule and Silsbee was left off. So..........

What was there to work out, Nederland controlled the schedule. Silsbee wanted to play, hence they signed up for the tournament. There was nothing to work out. This was a good tournament with good teams in it, some we have not played.  When Nederland was told about the schedule mishap they had to fix the schedule and in doing so didn't include Silsbee in the re-schedule. Now, why would you not include the top team in SETX? Maybe last in, first out? We just play for the here and now, not worried about the next 4 years.  

Silsbee 8th grade was scheduled for three games on one day, under UIL rules a team can not play three games in a day unless it's a one day tournament. So, when Silsbee called them on their mishap, Nederland called back and said you are left off the schedule. Now, call it what you want, but if you want a chance to win your tournament you fix it so you can.  CO may not be scared and may want to play Silsbee, but they would learn like Vincent and TJ that Silsbee is the best team in SETX.

Silsbee did not drop out. I guess if you want a chance to win your tournament you leave off the best team in this part of the State of Texas.  

Here's the deal, in 2007 Romo had a monster year could have won the MVP that year but a guy named P. Manning had a better year. He had a good O-line, good RBs, great WRs, and a good defense. Since then the O-line has been shaky, RB has not been constant, WR been in and out, defense has been going down every year. So, Dallas leaned on Romo to carry the team. You can only throw so many times in a game before the other team catches on and bad things happen. This year Romo finally almost has a team like Rodgers, Wilson, Brady. A good O-line, a constant RB, WRs that have stayed around and constant, and a defense that played above expectations. Romos ability and talent have always been there. Now he has the tools around him like these other QBs.   

I'm so sick of hearing about Rodgers little calf hurting. Romo play with having two back surgeries in less than two years, a broken up back after the first deadskins game and broken/cracked ribs. So, what QB was more hindered.

Lets see, best comp. %, best avg., best QB rating, best fourth quarter rating. The only impressive number Rodgers has over Romo is INT, and it aint much. His numbers for the month of December are historical this year. In the deciding last month of the year Romo's numbers blow away any QB in the league. In a time Dallas needed him the most he delivered with super performance's in the last four game to get into the playoffs and win the division.  Romo had a .800 winning %. Brady, Rodgers, P. Manning,  ended with a .750 winning %.  

Romo should win MVP this year. He leads in every stat, has the best record and showed how important he was in the Cardinals game. He won against the two best defensive teams and down the stretch of the season put up the best numbers in the history of the NFL for a QB.  That is how good he is.

Here is another thing on that play. Had Dez simply went to the ground at worst the ball would have been on the two yard line. Green Bay has not stopped Dallas's running game all game. You have four chances to run the ball in with Murray, I see seven points from there. Dez was trying to make a play, my view Dez made the play by the spectacular catch. JMO.

I have never been a fan of the continuation rule. If a running back is down by contact then a receiver should be down by contact. Now, if he has not been touched and the ball comes out after hitting the ground then incomplete. I know this if you leave a play to a interpretation then you have a great chance of it going against you. I think it should be changed to down by contact, always have.

Great game. Dang it!!! IT WAS NOT A CATCH!!! I hate it but it wasn't. I like what Dallas has coming back next year. Oh well.

Lets compare these teams by position this year.   Quarterback=Equal; Romo's numbers are astronomical this year, but Rodgers at home is unbeatable so far. Running back= Cowboys; Murray and Lacy are at the top of their game this year, but the backups for Dallas is a added strength. Wide Receiver/Tight Ends=Equal; These guys on both teams have great hands and what they do after the catch is just as good. O-Line=Cowboys; Three pro bowlers and a all pro. Nuf said. Just think if Free can make it back for the game. D-Line=Cowboys; The starting line is one thing but the rotation and backups favor Dallas Linebackers=Equal; Run stoppers and coverage Get ready for some hard hitting from these two groups. Secondary=Packers; It's more of Dallas's weakness than Green Bays strength. Special Teams=Cowboys; Kicking, punting, and return players slightly favor Dallas. Weather=Packers; As cold as it has been in Dallas this week it will be 15 to 20 degree colder in Green Bay. BIG advantage!!!

OMG!!!! The ref thats threw the flag got it wrong then the refs got together and made the right call. At first I thought it was PI, then I seen the play from other angles, like the other refs, and thought maybe not. If anything there was more facemask on that play by the TE. Why isn't anybody arguing about that?

Looked at a weather report for next weekend in Green Bay. Sunny and not as cold, Highs in the low twenties. Think goodness the game is being played in the hot part of the day. lol

Dallas just beat one of the top defensive teams in the past 15, 20 years. That defensive is why Dallas didn't look as good as they have in the past month. Dallas did not panic or try to put pressure on them selves to make a play, they just played it out and took advantage of what the Loins gave them. Good win Cowboys!!!

I like the Cowboys chances to win. I think that Dallas offensive line will impose their will in the fourth quarter. Dallas defensive front will keep the Lions run game in check, just have to play smart EVERY pass play. The Lions have a QB that has a cannon for a arm and some receivers that love to stretch the field. This is a very strong test for both teams. This is not just a regular wildcard playoff game. Two very good teams here. Go Cowboys!!!

Beaumont Fox does a good job of showing the Dallas Cowboys. More of a Cowboy fan base in SETX. Hopefully they can show it tomorrow also.

shovel, Beckham Jr. should be in the running for ROY. Over a thousand yards and the only spark plug on that team, thing is it's a bad team and out of the playoffs and that's why the media doesn't cover or mention them/him.

baddog, talk is McClain will stay MLB and Lee will move to OLB and Carter the other OLB with Hitchens able to play all three spots. McClain has a little more size and Lee has a little more speed. Both are punishing tacklers. If Dallas can keep these four LB and their backups this could be a very good LB group.
