I did not see the game.  But I have confidence in AggiesAreWe to observe and report - without prejudice - what he sees.  So it may be a case of Silsbee "Stars" wanting to take over.  But, again, I remind everyone that last Friday Silsbee had some key basketball starters playing in a football game.  If you haven't done it, then I'll tell you that it takes more than 4 days practice to convert from the football field to the hardwood floor. ::)
ARent we going to get input from Badsanta?
Bwahahaha! :D :D *beating fist on desk while laughing*
+1

 3. I will have to say Silsbee fans showed huge support in all three of our playoff games. There was a sea of maroon and white at all games. Go Tigers!!!
 4. The Intrepids won their bracket and was second over all in the tournament in points. They qualified for the championship round and made it to the semi-finals. We ended our season with a record of 16-4-2. We added two more shut out to our resume and ended the season with 11 shut outs total. Congrats Intrepids.

Both lost their first game of the year in which they should have easly won. Both have an offense that can score some points. Both have a defence that gets after the ball. Both teams did what they need to do to get to this game. Carthage has a little more team size and Silsbee has a little more team speed. Carthage is more use to going this far in the playoff and this is Silsbee's first time to be this far since 1998. This game has got to be one of the better match ups this weekend. It is really building up to be a good game. Safe travles to all. Oh and for my pick, well I'm a homer and going with Silsbee to win. Go Tigers!!!
You know your football team isn't very good when you have only your softball team in your signature! Good luck Silisbee, your gonna need alot of it if you want to win! :)
My daughter played softball, so hence the softball signature. We here at Silsbee we support all of our sports. You will find football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball and soccer signature all on SETXsports.com.  That's because we go to the playoffs in all of them. I sorry Carthage fans are so simple minded that they only support football. Be safe everyone. Go Tigers!!!
 7. The Intrepids are headed to the Eastern District Championship Tournament in Brenham this weekend. On the year their record is 14-3-1 and 10-0 in league play. They had a total of nine shutouts and seven in league play. In league play they have scored a total of 69 points and only given up 3 points. Their loses and only tie have come from select teams. Good luck Intrepids and safe travles.
 8. Tigernation will converge on Abe Martin Stadium and render a sea of Maroon and White. The Tiger hopes of a State Semi-final round next week start at 7:30 tonight. The object in the way are Bulldogs, short, stumpy, flat faced creatures. Oh, they have had some succes in the past, three state titles in three years a couple years ago. But this is now, this is here, not the past. This is the present. Game time is fast approching. Will the Tigers maul the Bulldogs are will the short creature trip the Tigers hopes up. In the words of a great reciever (and greatly hated) "Get your popcorn ready" its about to be showtime. Go Tigers!!!

 10.
There Were Fouls Call On Both Teams Kountze Just Had Alot More Players And Kountze Played More JV Players Then Silsbee Did So Stop Crying Aggie Are We You Try To Put Down Kountze Ever Time The Game Is Over With Now So Move On
Really!!! Only three players played on varsity last year for Silsbee. And two played all year long. AAW not crying just stating the facts.
But yall didn't... and it was kountze by 20.. so thats that...Didn't hear anything about missing players when yall beat Central... its over and done with.
That's because you must not have read the Silsbee/Central thread. It was all over it. Silsbee was ice cold in the first half. I was shocked that we where just 12 points down in the first half. In the third Silsbee heated up and took a lead in the game. The game really got out of hand when Willson fouled out with 5:11 left in the game. Kountze has size, speed and can shoot the ball. The player with the head band was popping it from three point range. Go Tigers!!!

 14. After seeing some of these predictions about Silsbee losing, it looks like some people are giving up on the basketball team untill the starters get done with football. Well I can say this, Silsbee's coach he aint gave up on his players. He aint waiting on nobody. That man is coaching this team to win, and doing a good job. Keep it up coach and congrats Tigers. Go Tigers!!!
 15. WOS was mad that Silsbee scored two TDs on them last week and took it out on Cleveland. Congrats WOS. Keep it rolling.
