The Silsbee Tigers travel across the creek to take on the Lumberton Raiders in a scrimmage Tuesday night. Weather permitting that the field gets dry enough. Just a little Village Creek Classic baseball style, in a scrimmage!

Since both teams have been in same district ('07), HJ won 4 of the first 6 games played between the two. Since then, Silsbee has won 10 of 13. I would say that is turning it around. ;) [/quote] Yes, the first two years in the same district (07 & 08) HJ won 4 out of 7 games. Since then, Silsbee has won 9 out of 12 games played.  I'll give HJ a ripple in the early going.

Any thoughts of a close game ended in the first minute of the game.

Due to construction still going on at Silsbee, the scrimmage has been moved to LCM.

The Silsbee Tigers will host the LC-M Bears Monday with the first pitch starting at 4:15. This is the first scrimmage of the 2013 year. Both teams are eager to get back into baseball form. Come out to see the new look Tiger Baseball field.

I hope there are some more refs, these two boys ain't gonna cut it.

It wouldn't surprise me at all that WOS and HJ would have to play a game to see who get second or third! But, there are plenty of game left to play. Never know what could happen.

Glad to see there was no hangover from last weeks brawls. Way to go Tigers.

I don't know how all those Silsbee fans fit in that little section. Awful conditions. Why in the world would you turn the heat up, man it was like a steam bath in there. It may have been cold outside, but that was rediculous. Then them Tigers turned up the heat some more. Good hard fought win for the Tigers. The Mustangs have height across the board, that's what kelp them in the game. Congrats Tigers, keep on keeping on. Go Tigers!!!
