1. That a way Tigers. That a way to take it to them. Just plain ol better. Go Tigers!!!
2. Silsbee averaged 93.2 points a game and gave up just 62.4 points a game. A 30.8 differance. Not bad. Winning the championship and beating the #17 rank 3A team. Go Tigers!!!
3. Clint Scoggins, Silsbee 2011, is playing baseball with Brookheaven College in Dallas. He is in the starting pitcher rotation.
4. Both will be playing for the championship. Neither Silsbee or HJ is scared of yates. All yates is, is another opponant along the way, a step on a ladder to the State Championship. Sometimes you can make it sometimes you don't. It's a part of playing. As far as they travel it will be nicer to cheer for a team that is brought up in a system than brought in.
5. Both team where good but to give up a lead like that. WOW!!!
6. Tonight I seen sparks of what Silsbee could do, but we didn't turn the heat up. Maybe they are starting to get it going. To much "I" going around right now. Get it together Tigers. Go Tigers!!!
7. So a team that is 3/4 JV and 1/4 Varsity went 4-3 with wins over Central and Memorial. Now a team that is 100% Varsity after the football players came back is 0-2 with a loss to Baytown Lee. Thats 4-5 on the year. I can't remember a Silsbee team with a losing record. Get it together Tigers. Get them basketball legs under you and play together. Go Tigers!!!
I did not see the game.  But I have confidence in AggiesAreWe to observe and report - without prejudice - what he sees.  So it may be a case of Silsbee "Stars" wanting to take over.  But, again, I remind everyone that last Friday Silsbee had some key basketball starters playing in a football game.  If you haven't done it, then I'll tell you that it takes more than 4 days practice to convert from the football field to the hardwood floor. ::)
ARent we going to get input from Badsanta?
Bwahahaha! :D :D *beating fist on desk while laughing*
+1

10. Dang. I give it a week of practice.
11. Thanks DXTR, keep them updates coming.
12. Anybody got a final on the JV game?
13. Any word on ya'lls next tryouts
14. I will have to say Silsbee fans showed huge support in all three of our playoff games. There was a sea of maroon and white at all games. Go Tigers!!!
15. The Intrepids won their bracket and was second over all in the tournament in points. They qualified for the championship round and made it to the semi-finals. We ended our season with a record of 16-4-2. We added two more shut out to our resume and ended the season with 11 shut outs total. Congrats Intrepids.

18.

These two teams pretty much mirror each other this year. Both lost their first game of the year in which they should have easly won. Both have an offense that can score some points. Both have a defence that gets after the ball. Both teams did what they need to do to get to this game. Carthage has a little more team size and Silsbee has a little more team speed. Carthage is more use to going this far in the playoff and this is Silsbee's first time to be this far since 1998. This game has got to be one of the better match ups this weekend. It is really building up to be a good game. Safe travles to all. Oh and for my pick, well I'm a homer and going with Silsbee to win. Go Tigers!!!
You know your football team isn't very good when you have only your softball team in your signature! Good luck Silisbee, your gonna need alot of it if you want to win! :)
My daughter played softball, so hence the softball signature. We here at Silsbee we support all of our sports. You will find football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball and soccer signature all on SETXsports.com.  That's because we go to the playoffs in all of them. I sorry Carthage fans are so simple minded that they only support football. Be safe everyone. Go Tigers!!!
19. The Intrepids are headed to the Eastern District Championship Tournament in Brenham this weekend. On the year their record is 14-3-1 and 10-0 in league play. They had a total of nine shutouts and seven in league play. In league play they have scored a total of 69 points and only given up 3 points. Their loses and only tie have come from select teams. Good luck Intrepids and safe travles.
20. Good luck Nederland.
