2.
First of all congrats to Silsbee on the win, they were the better team and deserved the "W". To me you can sum up the game in two words "big plays". Silsbee fumbles opening snap resulting in a BC score, Silsbee breaks a 44yd run for a score, BC runs back a kickoff, Silsbee scores on an 84 yd pass, BC fumbles a kickoff return, and so on. Neither team mounted an impressive offensive series where they drove the ball 70 or 80 yards on a 10 plus play drive, which in the grand scheme of things doesn't really matter (especially if you are Silsbee) if you score on 2 plays. Silsbee played on a short field most of the night and that spelled trouble for the BC defense. I'm not sure where this theory of BC kicking away from the Silsbee return guys came from? I guess if you shank 3 punts then you can call that kicking away from them but that's a stretch at best. Also if you look at BC for the last 3 to 4 years they kickoff to the same area almost religously, that's just how they set up, and yes it drives the fans nuts. One positive thing from last nights game for both teams is there were no injuries. BC really needed to keep everyone healthy, the last few weeks have been hard on the Cardinals. Going forward Silsbee will certainly welcome the bye week, you could tell the injured QB was not as explosive as he has been so the rest will help. For BC the real season will start next week with a trip to HF as the Cardinals try to stay in the hunt for the 3rd playoff spot with the rest of district 21-3A. Silsbee and WOS have virtually locked up playoff spots while the last spot is still up for grabs. The next few weeks will be crazy for sure. Again congrats to the Tigers on a well deserved the win.  Rake1
In the past several weeks Silsbee rarely takes 10 plays to travel 70 and 80 yards for a TD.

 6.
Not homecoming, say it ain't so...we haven't been a homecoming team for years...I guess that is our true welcome back to 3A (only been gone for 6 years ya know). I may have to run to Wal-Mart during halftime to do our grocery shopping, nothing more boring than the other teams homecoming.  As far as Silsbee having 4A talent in 3A, probably a few on the roster are, but just because you have beat a few bad 4A teams, don't start making your reservations for Dallas in December just yet.  No doubt the Tigers will unleash some points on the Coogs, but no one in blue and white will give up until the clock reads 00:00, I can assure you that.  Go Cougars!!
You may be making several trips this year!!!

So thats really something for yall to be proud of Silsbee.
Silsbee - 822 Buna - 473  How can you compete with a school that has 349 more kids than you do?
The ole numbers game huh! OK, Silsbee played four 4A schools in pre-district that avj 380 more kids. Now for a closer look. PN-G has 609 more kids, score 21-20 PN-G. LCM has 301 more kids, score 40-37 Silsbee. Lumberton has 265 more kids, score 41-0 Silsbee. Livingston has 344 more kids, score 43-32 Silsbee. That's how. Go Tigers!!!
 9. We will throw a big shin dig and call it Homecoming 2012. We will have the red carpet rolled out, with dutcheses, princesess, and a crowning of a Queen. All the while on the field the Tigers will be taking care of bid'ness. Go Tigers!!!

 12. It would be a tall order to beat Bid Ned and Vidor, but the other three Ozen, Livingston, and Central you could make a good case that both of the 3A schools could beat them.
 13. Well sir, that is half the field then. Could the 3A teams win a couple of more games to quallify?
 14. Question, could either of these two teams make the playoffs in 20-4A? Silsbee lost to PNG by one point in the first game, then beat LCM, Lumberton, and Livingston. WO-S beat LC-M, PN-G, and Central. Could these two little 3A schools win a couple more games in 20-4A and repersent 20-4A in the playoffs. I say more than likely. Any thoughs!

 16. I can see where we are playing a FBS team and they have more scholarships to offer that they mite be better. But the fact of the stupid fumbles I cant see. Your in college boy, playing college football, your should know how to hold on to the ball by now. It's one thing to be a QB and get blasted on the blind side or step up in the pocket and get waylaid, but trying to get to a punt that is way short or just letting it slip out of your arms on a kickoff. The Oline has got to get stronger, just plain and simple. Tonight the QB was running for his life on EVERY play. He made some plays and some he couldn't. I would love to see our two RB get a chance to run the ball, tonight they didn't get the chance. The defence did what they could do, hats off to them. Is Lamar playing home next week?
 17. Lamar forces another punt. Defence not bad so far.
 18. Lamar got a couple of first downs then had to punt.
 19. Lamar forces a punt, then fumbles that ball. Next play a 16 yd TD pass. Hawai'a 7-0.
