Why in the world would you look past a team that has won their district for several years and goes a couple of rounds or so in the playoffs. SMH!!!

The #6 Silsbee Tigers look to end their spring break on a winning note as they travel to Baseball USA in Houston to take on the Danbury Panthers. Danbury is an playoff team for the past several years and has an 4-5 record so far this year, coming off a 10-2 loss to Columbia on Tuesday. The Silsbee Tigers are ranked #6 this week in the SETXsports 3A-5A poll. Silsbee has an 9-4 record so far with their last win coming last Thursday beating Hemphill 11-1. This is the last warm up game for the Tigers as they get ready to start the district 21-3A race next week at home. Go Tigers!!!

This is BS!!! Yall can suger coat it all yall want. If you win your tournament you should be in peroid, no play in games. If you want to know who Lamar beat, they beat the team in the championship game to get an automatic bid. All a play in game is, is a game to get to the number sixteeth seed and a tournament champoinship winner with an automatic entry should not have to play a game just to see if they can be a sexteeth seed. SMH!!!

The #8 Silsbee Tigers will travel to Lumberton take on their cross creeks rivals the Lumberton Raiders in the Village Creek Classic, baseball style.  Since 2007 the Raiders own a 2-3 record, having won the last two games. The JV game starts about 4:30 with the varsity starting around 7:00.

UNBELIEVEABLE! We go to a stall game. I know this, when the Silsbee fans seen the refs come out onto the court there was a moan. Now, they where just a little bit better than last night, but they must have been sleeping when they went over charging in the officiating class, because they missed it both nights. That last one, I'm sorry Mike, you didn't need slow motion to tell it was a bad call. Any how, Great season Tigers you did more and lasted longer than most people thought you would. Ball Game Silsbee    4  11  2 Central  13  10  1 Central is 3A. They have a State Championship banner when they where in 2A Kind of confusing with these Central's and schedule changes. Any how not a good game from the Tigers. I think they have a game tomorrow at 8:40 again, at least that is what the schedule says. Against Central Heights? We'll see. Go Tigers!!!

Silsbee is plaing Lufkin Central. I was told they are a 2A team. Is that correct?
