10. Yes and Yes. These two teams will get an early look at each other as next year they will be district foes. They should know each other pretty good when district starts next year.
 11. Monday night is opening night for baseball in SETX and the Silsbee Tigers will travel to Buna to take on the Cougars for the fifth year in a row. Silsbee has a 3-1 record over that time as the Cougars won the first game then Silsbee has reeled off three wins in a row, claming a 7-0 shut out over the Cougars last year. The JV game will start at 4:30 and Varstiy starting at 7:00. I will be there (work permitting) to blog the game after each half inning. Come on out and cheer these players on as they open up a new baseball season in SETX.
 12. My inlaws went to this game and some PG fans sat behind them. My lnlaws said they talked about how good they were and that they have only one lose and the size advantage they have on such a small team and yada, yada, yada. Then just before tip off one of them tapped my father-in-law on the shoulder and said "we didn't drive all this way for nothing, so get ready" my father-in-law said "OK". In the second period they didn't talk as much, and when the third period got going they didn't say nothing. After the game they just got up and left the building, with out saying a word. Kinda rude don't you think, just getting up and leaving like that not even a good luck or nothing. Go Tigers!!!
 13. Way to go Silsbee. Puttin a 24 point whoopin on 3A #15 Pleasant Grove. Good win. Go Tigers!!!
 14. Just looked at the radar. Big storm cloud to the north of Houston heading Northeast. Hoping it will miss the SETXsports area.

I think they should be abouton the same level as silsbee.
Not Quite....Who does HF have returning that's any good ?
Easy there big fella!! May be a little better received if you were to ask that question a little different. Something along the lines of "how many starters do they return?" or something similar. HF always has guys that can swing it. They will face the same questions and problems that most teams will and that starts with pitching. Those guys play hard and that "amusement park" they play in always makes games interesting! One of the wildest places to watch a game no doubt. Hit one off the fists to right and it may get out. Hit one on the screws to that CANYON in center and hang on! May not get over the fence but it could be a foot race for an inside the park HR. These guys will definitely be in the mix one way or another. Rake1
With these new BBCOR bats they just took the amuse out of your "amusement park". NOW, one hit off the fists to right and it will get caught. Hit one on the screws to that CANYON in center and hang on it will get caught, no foot race for an inside the park HR. If HF can get their pitching, they will make a good push for the playoffs. Behind BC and Silsbee. But that's preseason talk.
After silsbee? From what I've heard silsbee is just a bunch of hype
Oh, that's right. It's a secret, all hype. shhhhhh
