1. Silsbee and Lumberton got after it tonight. Wet, foggy, and cold. I left in the middle of the fourth inning and Silsbee scored 18 something runs and Lumberton scored 0. It's safe to say Lumberton is in a rebuilding year, they have alot to work on.
 2. OK, here we go again. Looks like rain Monday and Wednesday. Silsbee 2/14 @ Home v Lumberton, 2/17 @ Home v Kirbyville

 4. Silsbee and Liberty scrimmage canceled tonight. Tomorrow @ 4 in Liberty
 5. Just looking at the radar and it looks like the rain maybe around for a couple more hours. I know its not a heavy rain, but its coming down. Will there be very many scrimmages played tonight? Who's playing and who's canceling?
 6. Congrats to both teams, Yall brought hame two more championship banners that will be hung in the gym. Good job. A big shout out to that 7th grade A team: Michael McCain, Noah Whitted, Trevor Jones, Zachary Scoggins, Elton Jones, Chase Partain, Nicholas Jeselink, Kolton Mackey, Trajan Harris, Bruce Newton. These boys had a great year going 10-0 in district and 12-1 over all, losing in the championship game to Odom in the Vencent Tournament. Also, a congrat to the coaches Hatton (7th grade) and Porter (HC 8th grade) for there hard work. Rotating players in and out so every player can get the max playing time and max rest.  No player was just left on the bench. Again congrats on a great season. Go Tigers!!!
 7. And no Newton. Just wont be the same not playing them two teams.
 8.
I sat next to the Ozen Coaches/scouts that were watching Nederland.  Let's just say that the things that I saw that we did good as far as beating Nederland, they saw way more than I saw and they will be ready.  Now the Scouts had a game plan.  Now if the coach will actually follow through is another thing.
It took two years to find a way to beat Nederland?
 9.
How many scrimmage's will be played with all this rain coming: Silsbee; 1/6 @ Woodville, 1/10 @ Liberty
Silbee and Woodville scrimmage has been changed to Tuesday.

The Silsbee/Jasper game is one of those games that you have to get on schedule. This is one of those games that if not played the season will not be complete. This game will be greatly missed not only by this two towns but all over SETX. Here are the first four week of both schools schedules:               Silsbee              Jasper Week 0    PNG (4A)          Liberty (3A) Week 1    LCM (4A)          Orangefield (3A) Week 2    Lumberton (4A)  Kirbyville (2A) Week 3    Livingston (4A)  WOS (3A) Silsbee did not want to take another Houston team or Cleveland team so the first two weeks had been set before the relignment. Now I wouldn't mind if we drop Livingston and add Jasper, but Jasper would have to drop WOS. Don't think that's gonna happen. I can tell ya'll this the longer it is after the relignment the less likely and harder it will be to get these two team on schedule. Go Tigers!!!
move wos to week 1 drop liberty and there you go....
Man, that sounds good to me.
 11.
WOS by 4! 76 72! Silsbee coming off a big loss and should be pretty fired up but the atmosphere at WOS is ridiculous.
Been there done that. Silsbee has played in two Hardin County Havoc games and already played a game with WOS, plus a game with Navasota. The atmosphere will not bother Silsbee, now if they are down after the lose earler in the week that mite be a problem. Go Tigers!!!

 13.
Yep, keep these *district* notes because thats about all the history from here on out ;D
I don't see anything changing in 21-3A, Buna is the only team coming in. Silsbee and HJ will still be on top of this district, in basketball.

 15.
Im a North SETXSports fan as opposed to being a South SETXSports fan.  It has been impossible not to notice (and for good reason) that the HJ/Silsbee games I and II have received more publicity from the forum than Tebow did on ESPN after winning 5 in a row.  I am wondering how long it takes for this to become another HJ/Silsbee thread, but I don't think it will take long (and wasn't my intention for this thread).  They should have their own forum. Back to being a North SETXSports fan, Huntington and Jasper play Friday night in Huntington.  Both have one district loss (Huntington to Center, Jasper to Huntington) and this game has potential to be huge for the 18-3A title.  Neither team is in the top 5 in the state, but this is a big game for a couple of good SETX teams. Congrats to HJ...I'm glad y'all split, that gives the South SETXsports fans the fuel to talk about who really is the better team.
About as long as YOU putting these two schools in the title.  ::)
 16. Get these numbers. Out of the seventeen games these two teams have played in 21-3A Silsbee has won 10 with HJ winning 7. Silsbee avgerage point in winning is 9.1, HJ is 9.0.  These two teams where in the same 4A district a while back, I wonder what the scores were from that time?
