1.
I'm not sure what you guys are expecting from Cleveland fans. If you were looking for nice game Silsbee then,"nice game Silsbee." The game was better and more competative than the final score indicates. I think Indian play calling was a little questionable in the second half, but that's not why Cleveland lost. Silsbee was the better team for now. I hope we have an opportunity to hook up again in a couple of months. The Indians are very young. They start 8 sophmores total(6 of those on defense). Due to an injury, that number went to 7 on defense in the second half. The offense is new and is a work in progress. I like the direction the Indians are headed and I'm still optomistic about there season. I thought Silsbee played hard and represented themselves well. I'll exclude Gaines from that. He's in need of some sportsmanship classes. Talent is all it takes, leave the attitude on the bus son. Good luck the rest of the way Tigers.
WOW, an cleveland indian calling out anyone on sportsmanship. I'm with you BADSANTA about looking for an example of sportsmanship. It's about like an aggie football player having an burnt orange jursey on. Leave the attitude on the bus, please.

3. It's the Mike and Tim show coming at you live from Indain Stadium. The Silsbee Tigers travel to hostile grounds to take on the Cleveland Indains. Both teams coming off lopsided Week 0 wins, the Tigers was a little ugly though. Both teams are 1-0 and will be facing better squads than they played last week. So tune in for the pre-game show at 7:00 and then at 7:30 the stars of Friday Night Football  start, also stay tuned for the half time show with updates from games all around Southeast Texas. Go Tigers!!!
4. I know when I played, at one two-a-day practice coach would hand out a 3x5 index card to ALL players and we had to put our information on it. One was your birth date. That way he knew what the UIL needed to know about you.
5. One hot and long night. Way to many penalties. I know it's the first game of the season and you would expect a few but not 30 or more. Waltrip is huge on the offense and defense line. There defense will blitze you 99.9% of the time and it will come from every were and any were. On offense there QB was not bad and he had some big tall WR's to throw to.  But the guy that stood out for Waltrip was Shaquille Ashton #4.  He had 92 yards and a TD receving and 36 yards rushing, that's 128 total yards and there only TD. And this guy is just a Soph.! As for Silsbee, although it was a lopsided win there are plenty of things to improve on. Like penalties. There were 5 of 6 balls batted down at the line of scrimmage and we let 2 or 3 balls go through our hands. Get these guys timing down and they could be really good. The offensive line is there. Was able to open some holes for the run. Now for the defense, not to bad. Did well against the run, got plenty of pressure on the QB and the young DB's did more than held there own against there big tall WR's. Man, our coaches will have alot to say to our players even though we won. Go Tigers!!!

8. Hitting the big time. Up next Sport Center  ;D
9. The football countdown timer says 0 days, 0 days yall. That means High School Football is here. TONIGHT!!!
10. Tarkington wins in three 25-9, 26-24, 25-12 Ouch!!!  :o
11. Silsbee 30 Waltrip 7. I don't see Silsbee scoring as many points as last year, our Soph. QB will more than likely have first game jitters. Nothing wrong with that, he has progressed well in the two scrimmages. I also don't see Waltrip scoring on our defense, they looked pretty dang good in the two scrimmages. If Waltrip wants to score they will have to go to the air, as Silsbee only returns one DB from last year. But to do that Waltrip will have to give there QB time, that will be a hard thing to do, besides Silsbee's DB's held there own in the two Scrimmages. This will be a good first game for Silsbee to get that young backfield some real game time experience. Go Tigers!!!
12. OH GREAT!!! Now that broadcaster booth will never be big enough for the both of us. lol Great article on a very deserving and hard working guy. I get at games about two hours before games start and he has things already set up and ready to go. You can tell he loves and enjoys what he is doing. Can't wait for Friday nights Mike.
13.
The play before Silsbees last TD run was 3rd and long and the pass hit the Tiger receiver in the head before a Bear hit him and the ref  called it pass interference!! ;D I guess he wanted practice throwing his flag.
The Tiger receiver was pushed before the ball got to him (that's why the ball hit him in the head and not in the hands) then the Bear hit him. That's why the ref threw the flag for interference.  ;)
14. Will be leaving in about 30 or 40 min. Got in from work and the temp. on my truck read 106. Holy Smokes, that's HOT!!!
15. Now that's funny, I don't care who you are.  :D  :D  ;D
16. Silsbee scored 4 TDs and Kirbyville scored 0 TDs. Silsbee's first O had 3 long TD passes and the second O had 1 long TD pass. Silsbee's D total controlled the line of scrimmage. Both teams where basicaly playing with new backfields on offence and Silsbee's had more seccuss. Give Kville time, have some size and some speed, they will be fine. Silsbee's D looked good giving up maybe five plays of 10 yards or more. Good first scrimmage to get under your belt. No real serious injuries.
17.

will silsbee make it to district without all players being in a body cast...lol.. ;D :D
:D
What does not kill you, makes you stronger.  ;)
18. Congrats to these boys. gonna miss seeing them next year.
19. Colby Jenkins (Jr) from Silsbee has verbally committed to play ball at San Jacinto Jr. College. San Jac has offered Colby a full ride for him to go there. Congrats Colby things are looking up.
20. Congrats Tigers on a good run. Regional Quarterfinals not bad, not bad at all. To the seniors, its been great watching you boys play ball weather its been in Little League, All-Stars, or Summer ball. Can't wait to see some of yall play at the next level. Good luck to you seniors. Go Tigers!!!
21. If I understand correctly Flowers loaded the bases with the score 8-2 and Scoggins came in, an E6 scored one run then a hit ball hit third base and scored another run. Scoggins got a strike out to get out of the inning.
22. Silsbee batting: F3, E6, Steeling 2nd out, K going to the bottom of 1
23. Ryan Whitehead in to pitch, saving Clint for next game.
24. These umps are rediculous. Silsbee's pitcher (Scoggins) ask for a dry ball and the ump will not give him one. ARE YOU KIDDING ME. Making him pitch with a wet ball. It's rainning there. And now the wet ball errors are killing us.
25. Silsbee liked to have threw the game away with errors. Congrats on the win. Now going to the next round. Good Luck. Go Tigers!!!
