In 21-3A who will be your No.1 pitcher?
STiger85 replied to adminbaberuth's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Silsbee will bring two top notch pitchers this year that will team up with Lance Brown and Justin Flowers to make a very competive pitching staff. Clint Scoggins and Colby Jenkins are back from Tommy John surgery after missing last year. Both of these boys are hitting 90 and have some good second and third pitches to go along with the heat. These two have been rehabing the past year and are really excited to get on the mound for Silsbee this year. Its has been a painful and exhusting come back for these two. Time will tell the hole truth, but watching these two rehab this summer and fall they look good. Ether of these two can be the starter. Can't wait for some Tiger Baseball. -
Got there at 4:30 and stayed there till the great ending. First half you could tell that Silsbee played very little the past several weeks. Second half Silsbee rub a little rust off and played a little better, hope all the rust is off the next time these two teams play. Oh and Coach Travis you missed a good one, hurry back. Go Tigers!!!

Since yall are going back in time. The Burger Barn out by 1122, not to bad they could burn a burger or how about the Top Half north of Kountze, man they could fix a tall ice cream. The Dixie Queen and Top Burger were good hang out spots, back in the day. Also lets not forget the Lumber Company can any body say Seafood platter. When going out to eat who cares as long as it goes down good. Go Tigers!!! -

Jeremy Johnson expected to sign with Lamar football

With the receivers we already have and DPG coming to Lamar, and now JJ at Lamar I see the running game a 1000 times better than last year. Witch will make the pass better and the defense better. Now you add in everybody else that we recrutied Lamar should make the playoffs. Here's wishing. It could happen. -

The last time I looked Silsbee's QB had over 68% almost 69% completion rate, to lead the area. -

You stopped at passing yards and TD. Take a look at pass completion percentage at get back to us. -

No love for Silsbee's QB McDaniel. -
WOW what a game. To bad Silsbee had to lose. Boys you played a great game. Congrats on a good season. Huffman you played a great game and good luck next week. Both teams combined for 92 points and 929 yards of offense. 41 points in the first half and 51 in the second half with Silsbee scoring 30. You kinda new coming into this game that it was going to be a shoot out. Silsbee did what I thought they needed to do and that was run a time consuming offense to keep Huffman's offense on the side lines, to help out there defense. Silsbee did that, keeping the ball for 73 plays. And had time of possion. The two turn overs was to much for Silsbee to over come. In the second half Silsbee came out on fire and had that ole "Eye of the Tiger". A 97 yard kick off return for a TD, then held Huffmen to a three and out and drove down and scored again to take the lead. But Huffman did just enough in the end to get the win. I'm proud of you boys. Go Tigers!!!

After being in the playoffs for 20 years the LadyTigers skipped last year. This year the LadyTigers made it there mission to get back into the playoffs where they belong. Learing each other early in the season this team made big strides and later in the season around district time this team came together and won. Co-District champs. and the #1 seed into the playoffs. Great job by a great group of girls. Congrats coaches on a job well done. Congrats LadyTigers on a good season. Go Tigers!!!
