The Mike and Tim show will be coming to you from Tiger Stadium @ 7 pm. The last regular season game and also Senior Night. Silsbee's game plan is simple "win and your in" the playoffs. Well there mite be another very small twist to that but we wont think about it, just win.Anyway if you cant make it just sit back in yalls easy chair and sip on some hot chocolate  (or what ever) and tune us in for all the live action and game updates from across SETX. In a Co District 21-3A Volleyball match to see who will be the #1 seed and the #2 seed the Silsbee Lady Tigers (#1)take out the Bridge City Lady Cardinals (#2) in three games to own the #1 seed in 21-3A. A BIG congrats the the Lady Tigers. Good luck to Bridge City and Silsbee in the playoffs. Now go flex yalls muscle.

Silsbee takes the Co District Champs and the #1 SEED into the playoff as the Lady Tigers down the Lady Cardinals in three game.

Congrats Lady Tigers. Yall flexed your muscle and dominated the Lady Cardinals in a three game sweep. Yall set a goal of getting back in the playoffs and made it your mission. Great job. I see your point. This game was very much like last years. HJ had a 26-21 half time lead. Silsbee won 56-26. This year HJ had a 20-16 lead. Silsbee won 30-20. Almost the same thing happend both years. Silsbee just did not get those three TD in the red zone to make the point spread bigger. The pass defense better get sealed up for next week and the run defense needs to keep on keeping on. Go Tigers!!!

I'm gonna have to put Pat Henry in there for defense. He could really get a crowd into a frenzy. Big, powerful and quick. I can still hear the fans at ole' Kirby Memoral Stadium chanting his name "PAT, PAT, PAT"

I don't think HJ out played Silsbee tonight. About the same. The difference was Silsbee could not punch the ball in from inside the 10 yard line three times and HJ had four turnovers (3 int and 1 fumble). HJ also had some costly penaltes that hurt them. There was some hard hitting and good football tonight. Good luck HJ the rest of the year and congrats Silsbee, way to stay focused and get the win. Go Tigers!!!

Doss and Mathews are nice choices. Phillip was a three year starter and a duel threat also. He could do it all run or throw. His Soph. year he let his arm do the talking. His Jr. year Silsbee ran the ball 95% of the time, took the ball out of his hands, so to speak. His Sr. year he had a new coach and a new offense. It took several games for the team to get the new offense down and when they did Silsbee took off. Phillip was as smart a QB to ever play at Silsbee. He knew how to take care of the ball running and throwing and he had the talent to go with it.

Its the Mike and Tim show come at you from Sour Lake home of the Hardin-Jefferson Hawks. The Silsbee Tigers will travel there to get back on the winning track and try to stay up with WOS and BC. There is only three weeks left and a win tonight puts the team one step closer to the playoffs. Come on out and watch a good game. If you cant make it, then you can hear us right here on SETXsport.
