Phillip Linsdey comes to mind. Took Silsbee four rounds deep in the playoffs his senior year, and that was with a new coach. Also Jasper Lewis. I remember his name because my aunt would holler his name on every play.

Now what he does and how he does in college is up to him, but last year JJ was what the scouts ranked him.

Lets just say the winner will be top dog in 21-3A. No ifs, ands, or buts.

I fill the same way about my team. So proud of them. We have only 1 out of the 12 on our team to play "real" baseball. No select coaches on this team, just coaches learning like the players. We were the youngest team in the Major Division. Having to teach pictures pick off moves in a short time was tough. We came in with one thing in mind and that was to have fun. Win or lose. We constantly moved players around every two innings. Great team work Rays. Great job Jason T. and thank you. One more weekend to go. We will be back next year.

Just like the fumbles, a higher percentage than it should be and this late in the season at that. Silsbee showed that they can be coached, by keeping a great BC running team to half there rushing yards in a game. Also, running the ball more and having success with it. Now its the little things that make such a BIG impact in winning ball games. BC has a good team no doubt, everybody looked for them to kill Silsbee, but that did not happen. It was a good game don't take that away from the kids that played the game. Go Tigers!!!  

The Silsbee Tigers beat the #16 State Rank 3A Bridge City Cardinals in five game at Tiger Gym last night. No one gave Silsbee a chance in the game (but Silsbee fans). These two teams had a classic battle, very close games. BC took Game 1 25-23, then Silsbee flex there muscle and won Game 2 25-20 and Game 3 25-23. Then BC flex a little bit and won Game 4 25-19. In the final game Silsbee showed who had the most muscle winning Game 5 15-13. These two team are tied for first place (5-1) and this was the first game in round two in district games. There is alot of volleyball left to be played. Good luck to BC. Congrats on beating a stated ranked team Silsbee, you earned this with your hard work. Keep it up girls. Good luck the rest of the way. WOW what a game. In all stats it was close. To bad Silsbee lead in the turnover and BC lead in the score. That kinda goes hand in hand. BC got the lucky breaks that you need to get in a game to win. I was thinking that the score would be in the high 30's to low 40's, but in the mid 20's. WOW. Congrats and good luck to BC the rest of the way. Silsbee CUT down on the TURNOVERS!!!!!!!!! Ya'll do that and ya'll could be unstopable. Go Tigers!!!

What did I say, what did I say. Oh right BC 5-1 corrected it. Now The Silsbee v BC game is the only game played tonight in 21-3A where eather winner will be on top. I did not say by themselves, but on top. For the Orangefield v WOS game only one team has to win for that to happen.  Next time I type something down I will get a lawer and have him/her go over it.

OK did I see this right. Silsbee runs 36 plays for 415 yards, thats 11.5 yards per play  :o. Orangefield runs 68 plays for 460 yards, thats  6.7 yards per play. The problem is Silsbee just scores to fast in this game for there defense to get rested up. Now, is that a good problem or a bad problem. Eather way thats some serious yards per play from both teams especially from Silsbee.  ;D

The Mike and Tim show will be coming at you live from Tiger Stadium. It's the 100th Homecoming for Silsbee. The Jasper Bulldogs are coming to town to be our honored guest at this years homecoming game. This rivalery dates back as far as 1921, no other two teams in Southeast Texas has been playing longer.  Go Tigers!!!

Find something that works then to not go back to it. Ho-hum, another could've, should've, would've season for the Tigers. Doing less with more than just about every 3A team in the state.
