9 never saw triple coverage. he has a good game and was bracketed most of it but not tripled
Yes several times in the second half he was covered by a CB with a safety over the top and a LB sliding over to his side. One time he caught the ball and three Lumberton players were around him.
 2.
Lumberton missed a bunch of easy receptions the second half or you would have seen another 50 point game.  You Tiger's best bet was the hail marry to #9; that's if you could protect your QB!
Silsbee dislodged several balls from Lumbertons hands with there big hits. Several times Lumberton recervers looked like they just didn't want to make the catch. Yes #9 did good tonight in single, double and even triple coverage.
 3.
Dang. Silsbee didn't win. First quarter was turnovers. Two for Silsbee, one on the six yard line and one for Lumberton with a blocked punt. Second quarter was all Lumberton (21 points) and very little Silsbee (8 points), wow #39 is the real deal for Lumberton. Lumberton leaned heavy on him and he carried them. Third quarter was all Silsbee defense. Silsbee offence found light and scored a TD. The fourth quarter nether offence could get going only Lumberton got a little going to end the game. I really thought Lumberton was going to run away with the game but Silsbee's defense was able to stop them and shut them out in the second half but the damage was already done. Lumberton did a good job of switching there defense from a three man front the a four man front, and changing there blitzing up every play. Silsbee found a flaw in there defense in the third quarter and scored a TD but half way though the fourth quarter Silsbee starting running out of gas as Lumberton had more players to move  in and out of there line up. That turnover on the six yard line in the first quarter for Silsbee really came into play as that was the difference in the ball game. Good job and congrats Lumberton on a very hard fought game. Good luck next game. Regroup Silsbee and get ready for next week. Going to the Piney Woods NEWTON! Go Tigers!!!
Also Silsbee stopped Lumberton in the second quarter and forced them to punt, only to have 12 men on the field and give Lumberton the ball back. Two plays later a 47 yrd pass for a TD. Mistakes!

Got to hang on to the ball better. Offensive line did a great job. The offensive line shut Cleveland down. Silsbee Defense had another great game also.
Clevelands  3 d lineman recorded over 25 tackles...once the indians backers get going in their new defense they will be tough to run on!
After Silsbee got positive yards. Not many in the backfield, not many at all.

About 6,000 home side, 4,000 visitor side, give or take a few.
better go to texasbobs yall could barely fit 10000 in the parkin lot no disrespect just fact,I can see that I need about 10,000 more posts!!
What do we have to go there for? When Tiger Stadium was first built the seating capacity was around 9500. There have been add ons and now it holds 10,000+. Our visitors side holds just about as many as Lumbertons home side. No disrespect. lol
go check your facts and in case you did'nt know there wont be softball friday
Facts please tell us where you get your facts. Funny you should mention softball that would be another win for Silsbee.

Conditioning looks a little suspect.     Rhone with the serious cramp situation and thought I saw throwina kid g up on sideline.    Coaches may need to remind players that water would be better to keep hydrated than other forms of liquids. Just an observation.
It was dinner that made the kid throw up, not conditioning.
Someone might need to talk to his parents about that.....maybe they dont know about things like this.;D
I'm pretty sure one of his parents has already commented on this subject.

 10.
Silsbee won't lose this game! Lumberton will be over confident and think since Silsbee is now 3A, they can walk all over them. Tiger D will come to play and stack up the run. Final Silsbee 26-Lumberton 21. Too bad I will be in Austin getting for another Longhorn win!
Hey tune us in for the game Friday night and have a super football weekend. The Tigers and The Longhorns.
 11. Hey I'm going with the homer pick and say Silsbee will win. Lumberton says this will be the best team they have played so far. This will be Silsbee's best team to face so far. Lumberton a little more size and Silsbee a little more speed. Experance will go a long way in this game. Lumberton IF your front DL is not any better than Clevelands (and im not say there not, OK) ya'll want be running any body backwards. Go Tigers!!!
 12. Hey bigcat saw you lurking around the stands tonight. Next time by the pressbox look up and say hi. The Silsbee OL did a good job against the big DL of Cleveland, and more than handled there big guy.
 13.
Good job Meat, Natural, Puma, Tank and Doc!  88 had nothing on ya'll!
That is so true.
 14. WHAT......... thousands of listeners!!!! I thought I was just talking to Mike. Thanks Lefty. OH BOY.
 15. Finally Tiger Football is here and it looks like the good Lord has blessed the area with cooler tempatures. The stands should be packed with the cooler, football weather. Ah the smell of the concession stand, the cheererleaders cheering, the band playing, the sound of the hits on the field, and Mike and Tim on the airwaves yep its Friday Night Football. Go Tigers!!!
 16. Silsbee will be in the playoff mix. Along with BC and WOS, gotta throw in HJ also. Just don't know what order.
 17. If the Silsbee OL can handle Cleveland's defensive front line including there two big ends they will win this one. Go Tigers!!!
 18. Silsbee = DOMINATION
 19. The Silsbee Sr team is playing Buna @ 2 and Vidor @ 3. Yes back to back. Is there a cool front coming today. The Silsbee Jr Maroon Warren White @ 2 and MV Purple @ 4. Tell Us how your team did today. Go Luck. Go Tigers!!!
 20.
LCM 3 Silsbee 1 Scores: 20-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-20 Far from domination, either way. ;) ;D
Dang hated I missed this one. Close games. Go Tigers!!!
 21. Been given this a lot of thought and I know it's been a while. You can't argue Coach Trawhon knew baseball, and he has shown that here at Silsbee. I seen this past year Silsbee just missed the playoff by just a few runs, we came in fourth in district. It's no doubt that talent and experance will go a long way in helping a coach. Over the past four years the experance level here has going down. Just a hand full of seniors down to just a couple and then none last year. Two top pitchers going down last year did not help either. Now talent wise Silsbee has always had it, its always been there. Just not enough experance to level things out.  That will kill a coach. And I can tell you winning, no matter were you are or what sport, is tops. Going to the playoff helps out alot also. If you had players making two are three errors a game just about every game you would take him out and gave someone else a try. Not saying the players are bad but that mite not be the postion that they can play.  Why not change the players around and if the other players can play that postion better good if not then you tried something. If you have a code of conduct follow it for every one. Like I said before the talent is there, these players can play and play more than one postion. The experance level just was not up there with the talent and the wins did not come. Coach Trawhon has done a good job here the field shows it and every thing around it shows it. For the past several years the wins did not show it. We have all seen it in football, basketball, volleyball, no matter what sport if you don't win you start getting a magnafying glass on you. For example in football in this area over the past several years there has been four, five, six coaching changes each year, and I'll guess over 90% is because of not winning. I wish Coach Trawhon good luck in what ever he does, and I wish our new coach good luck in what he does. Go Tigers!!!
 22.
Little Elm, Aledo, Woodforest The Woodlands, Berry Center I think the Dallas Metroplex has the nicest stadiums and Allen is going to blow stadiums out of the water and they do have the money.  Also, Leander ISD in the Austin area have nice stadiums. Beaumont will have the nicest stadium in this area unless you factor in everything, then I don't know who. PNG IMO has the best crowd enviroment, but with a back drop of plants, and lack of parking makes it a little less. Silsbee, very nice stadium, but small.  Beaumont nice stadium, but the stands may be uneven because of the soil, I-10 traffic all game long, and the stands won't be filled unless PNG, or Nederland play there. Heck I don't know you make the call.
I don't get where you get that Tiger Stadium is small. Maybe its that we are a 3A team or a small town. As far as setting, Tiger Stadium compares nicely to that one in PNG or that one along I-10.
 23. Hey dog4life any more updates?
