  1. In Silsbee every one has a first round pick. Then in the second round you pick your asst. coach kid, then in the third round you pick your kid (mangers pick). If you don't have an asst. coach, then you just pick. If you have another parent that is helping coach with you then we try and make a gentleman's agreement. Sometimes it works sometimes it don't.
  2. How about a tail gate party on Friday for both games that week.

  5. Hey ticked, lets worry about our next game and not one half a month away. If we don't take care of business before that game it may not even be important. By the way I would love to beat HJ by 20.
  6. well we will see when we beat yall cause yall have a big three and we have a big eleven If you have the Big 11 then how come you lost 4 of your last 8 games??? ;D ;D ;D Listen little b do not come on here talking stuff unless you have something to back it up!!!! If you beat HJ then you can talk. If SR runs circles around JB then you can talk. Until then just post and have fun, but not ridiculous!!!! ;D ;D :D : : I believe the last time Silsbee and HJ played, Silsbee did beat HJ. So, according to YOU Silsbee does have the right to talk. Unless we are just talking about this year and not last years regional finals. Now, about SR and JB, both control the ball very good (handles). I'll take SR and you can have JB. No harm done. Go Tigers!!!
  7. Where the playoff brackets made up at the begaining of the season or was it at the end of the season? Playoffs brackets should be made and passed out with the season schedules so the teams know what there playing for. JMO.
  8. INF-Josh Skinner (Sil) This guy has a full ride to Rice and y'all left him off.
  9. I'll go with HJ in this one. Newton does have a descent team, just can't go the four quarters with HJ.
  10. Silsbee has two starter back from last year. Josh Skinner and Chase Kelly. Both Sr. Josh plays 1B and pitches, Chase plays 2B and SS. Silsbee will have a very, very young team. These two boys will be looking for help from mostly Soph. Clint Scoggins, Caleb Henry, Jacob McDonald, Lance Brown just to name a few, I know I left some out. Even some Fresh. will be looked at to help out. Colby Jenkins, Mike Simmons, and JK Keefer and a couple of others. Point is Silsbee will be looking hard at the underclassmen to step up and contribute. The way Josh and Chase handle themselves will go a long way in Silsbee's play. Early on this team will take some hard knocks, but with most of these boys playing summer ball they should be competitive late in the season. Just hope it's not to late. Go Tigers!!!
  11. HJ will be soild you can count on that. But Im a homer. Go Tigers!!!
  12. I was just thinking about him at tonight's game. I was there when he hit that 3 pointer two steps from halfcourt to win the game with McNeese.
  13. Lamar looked good tonight. Got behind early but never gave up. They wanted to win this game, on there home court. This team played team ball. Number twenty was shooting lights out the first seven or eight minutes and then didn't not get going again until the final seconds. TT played good ball don't take that away from them, LU just played some good defense to counter #20 and #21. The crowd was great, really getting into the game. Then rushing the court at the end was great. I bet the players really appreciated it. Just a great game. Go LU.
  14. thats not what the schedule says but i may be wrong........the schedule says Jasper is next........ Schedule says Dec 19 @ Jasper, and the winner is ST4life
  15. Maybe it was the video, but he didn't look all that fast. But the possibilities are there.
  16. Ball game. Navasota 48 Silsbee 33. Silsbee had two early turnovers that lead to Navasota TD, and turn over on down at the eight yd line early in the fourth. Navasota took full advantage of Silsbee's errors. Prat the RB for Navasota sounded like he was a beast. Good luck the rest of the way Navasota. Silsbee came up just a little short against the number 5 3A team in the state. Silsbee is proud of there Tigers. Go Tigers!!!
