  1. Porters first year Lumberton won one game. Last year, after three years, Lumberton won 17 games and lost out on the playoffs on the last game of the season. Porter had that program headed in the right direction with young players coming back. I don't know what the new AD is looking for, but the program was successful under Porter. Good luck Josh.
  2. Orangefield is so fundamentally sound and patient that’s why they’re hard to beat. I haven’t seen Rusk, but ranked in the top 20, they must be doing something right. IF, and I say IF, Rusk has one pitcher like the other poster said he needs to make quick work every inning and stretch his pitch count out.
  3. Looking at the weather for next week, this may become a one game series.

  10. 22-4A v 21-4A, flip a coin these teams are so close together. All these teams have playoff experience and given that "what team shows up" and "on any given day" attitude, on paper I don't see one team totally dominating another. If it's a three game series I see a lot of third games. All four games should be good. Good luck.

  13. This game is for the third seed and basically three teams playoff chances. LCM wins they are the #3 seed and BC is tied with Lumberton for the #4 seed. A BC win and LCM and BC are tied for the #3 seed and they will have to have some kind of tie breaker, also Lumberton will be eliminated.

  17. I sure hate this for WOS. So, how does this effect the district standings? Lumberton moves to 6-6 and BC moves to 6-5. Now BC can rest and have everyone ready for LCM Friday. Oh, LCM is playing Silsbee tonight for basically the #2 seed. Like I said, I hate it for WOS but BC just got a gift.
