La Marque beat Dayton the week before by 14 I think in the dome. Silsbee and La Marque was pretty much even but La Marque had some serious speed at LB.

Not even close on the Silsbee/La Marque score. Silsbee was going for a field goal late in the game for the lead but La Marque blocked it and ran it back for the game deciding TD. Final score was 21-12. Far from that skull dragging you mentioned.

You dang right. As long as Silsbee is playing football, it’s football first. I don’t ever give the feeling we need them on the court more than we need them on the field until football is over. There ain’t nothing going on in basketball right now that needs their attention. Now, after football is over then I’ll be a basketball fan. A football fan, are you not?

. Let basketball take care of itself. No need them players reading about basketball when they are focused on football. Hopefully it’s another three weeks before they start bouncing balls.

Don’t care about Cuero this week, WOS is all we are focused on this week

Silsbee nor WOS is the same team as the first game. Both have gotten better thanks to a strong pre district schedule. We where written off at the beginning of the season by having a losing records after the first three or four games. Well, here we are in the Regoinals finals the best two 4A teams in the region. One thing about it we don’t have Carthage to get through this year, we just got another state caliber team to get through.

It’s a combination of a tough pre-district schedule and improving through out the year. A poster on here stated that it doesn’t matter how strong our schedule is if you get blown out it doesn’t help you. Well, I beg to differ. It does help. We got ridiculed for giving up 108 points in the first two games, mostly by the team up north that just got knocked out of the playoffs. Maybe if they would have had a harder schedule that mite still be playing. But here we are, just beat a team who’s coach’s basically said we are no good and didn’t have a chance. We are moving on, we are still practicing, we have another game. TigerNation!!!

Heck yeah I don’t care the score as long as Silsbee has one more point than WOS. Good match up

First WOS/Jasper game- Jasper full strength, WOS was not full strength. WOS was struggling at QB also, and found a QB during the Silsbee game. If both teams where playing full strength I'd give the edge to WOS. Second WOS/Jasper game- Nether team is at full strength, both teams missing key players. I have no idea who will win. One thing about the game it's WOS v Jasper it will not disappoint.

Giddings has an BIG O-line and a BIG RB, their QB is good likes to run as much as he likes to pass. Their defense is scrappy and has two good LBs, the secondary is suspect. Giddings is a team that is use to pushing teams around and being a big bully. Giddings is a dangerous team. If Silsbee comes out and plays like we have the past six quarters we can win this game, if we stumble just a little it will be anybody's game. TigerNation!!!

I really don’t understand why one would think that Silsbee offensive line is not good. In reality it is one of their strengths, has been all year.

If it's ok with everyone, hope it's ok for the basketball team to be fully loaded after the Christmas break. Would love to see the football team playing deep into December.

Unsportsmanlike conduct on other teams, Silsbee has had very few of them. Holding penalties not very many on Oline. Now false starts and off sides, we've had our fair share of those penalties.

It wasn’t luck that Silsbee won like we did. Maybe it was luck that they where our opponents in the first two rounds, but luck had nothing to do with us beating them. Thing is ain’t nothing wrong with having a little luck helping along the way.

Yeah, that ball was not supposed to have been snapped. Our QB got mixed up. Oh well. Live and learn.
