I’m going to disagree with you dj. PG would have won that game 9 times out of 10. That was just a better team and those coaches, didn’t out coach, coached a great game.

Several time Silsbee has gone over to BC with better teams and struggled. Don’t take BC lightly, if you do your feelings mite get hurt. Oh, I think Silsbee will win and can win by several TD. Got to keep playing hard. TigerNation!!!

You can start to see some of the rust coming off that should have been off in pre-season

Yeah, it's been a long time since Silsbee first three game where against schools of the high caliper. Couple that with a young, inexperience offense and you get growing pains. Going to benefit us in the long run. TigerNation!!!

I think so! That was Coach Smiths first year. Both teams went home with snotty noses and bloodshot eyes, like I said It was a heck of a game. BC got lucky and had one more point than we did. Oh, did I mention the game was in BC.

Really? Silsbee had to learn new coaches, new offense, new defense and caught on quite well mid-way through the season. It was a good team not one of the best. But I don't know when you started watching the Silsbee/BC series.

Same thing in 2016. Ranked in top 10, heavy on defense. We lost the first two game, not how you want to start the season. We went 6-2 the rest of the season made the playoffs and was twelve seconds from sending Carthage (the eventual state champion) home in the first round of the playoffs. Again not how we want to start, but I hear on here time and time again it’s not how you start it’s how you finish.

Two things I would like to see Silsbee better at this Friday. 1) Penalties-way to many penalties in a game, kills drives and kills momentum. 2) Turnovers-protect the football, mainly the pic six. Both have been when Silsbee was driving. There's other things but these or mentally fixable. You knock these two down and you have a better shot of winning every game you play.

Y’all say Nederland likes soggy wet fields, well they should feel right at home Friday. It’s been fifteen years since Nederland played on this field, they in for a treat! Lol

The only reason the NFL would change a game is if they think the ratings would be low. That means people not watching. The Giants have the New York market and the Cowboys have America’s market. Don’t matter how the game goes they going to get their money. Lol

People will watch it because Dallas is playing. The haters will be out in full force hoping Dallas loses. Dallas faithful will be watching hoping to see The QB throw farther than twenty yards down field. The ratings will be through the roof all because Dallas in on.

When you don’t play much on offense in the pre-season that Panther defense is not a good choice for the first game of the season. That Panthers defense is good. Our defense looked good.

The Silsbee Tigers will host the Nederland Bulldogs in the home opener for the Tigers. The Tigers (0-2) are looking for their first win of the season and the Bulldogs (2-0) are looking to stay perfect on the season. This is the first meeting since 2003 between these two teams.
