  1. Listen Live at 7 PM! Jasper Bulldogs vs. Silsbee Tigers Game 2- 4A Bi-District Playoff Baseball--Live from Silsbee Baseball Field Listen Here: [Hidden Content] Game 2 in the best of 3 series will be Friday at the Tigers Diamond in Silsbee starting at 7:00. The #18 state ranked Jasper Bulldogs had to come from behind to win game 1 4-3 that was played in Jasper. Game 3 if needed will be played Saturday in Woodville at 1:00. It was another great game played by these two teams. Silsbee's backs are against the wall and looking to extend the series to a game 3 and Jasper is looking to close the series out with a sweep of Silsbee. It's Silsbee/Jasper Game 2. TigerNation!!!
  2. Final Silsbee 200 100 0 3 3 1 Jasper 200 002 - 4 5 2 WP: C. Womack LP: J. Hardy
  3. The only home run I can remember from last year was the walk off in Silsbee. In Silsbee the visitor dugout is on first base side. Long way across the field to third base coach. But excitement gets into everyone, especially when something like that happens. Surly, something was read into excitement. Yes, two completely different teams from last year, could say almost reversed. Silsbee, with all their injuries, did good making a run in district to make the playoffs with their rag-tag lineup. Jasper virtually cruises into the playoffs with their hard hitting lineup. TigerNation!!!
  4. I never knew of any bad “antics” in any of the baseball games last year with these two teams. Both games last year where good games that both teams left it all on the field. Looking for good series this weekend.

  6. So, Coach Dubois left a basketball school where he had a little success to go to a Baseball school where he had a little success only to go back to the basketball school where he had a little success. Like football through goalposts so are the Days of a Coach. Good luck Coach Dubois, except for on Oct. 19.

  13. It's the last series of the year as the Silsbee Tigers (12-13, 3-5) will host the WOS Mustangs (10-16, 1-7) at the Tiger Diamond in Silsbee Friday night. It's senior night as TigerNation says goodbye to six seniors in their last scheduled home game. It's an all important series as the Tigers magical number is one, the Tigers need to win one game to make the playoffs. The Mustangs need to sweep the series for a chance at the playoffs. The Tigers own a 15-7 record over the Mustangs since 2007, but the Mustangs swept the series over the Tigers last year. The JV starts at 4:30 and the Varsity starts at 7:00.
  14. No, Argyle did not have to forfeit the game. WOS did not win the state championship in Baseball.
