  4. Yes, and Silsbee did what they needed to do to an hurt opponent, put them out of their misery. If Silsbee would have won by a touchdown or so it wouldn't have been as good a win. I do hope BC get healthy they are a scrappy team.
  5. Big game at Tiger Stadium as nether team wants two losses as that would more than likely put that team in the bottom half of the playoff bracket. That's a place you really don't want to be come playoff time. Looking for a good game from both teams. TigerNation!!!
  6. Wrong, Silsbee was not "bummed" about the Thomas switch. We are impressed of his leadership that he understood what had to happen for the best of the team and the senior DB came through. Looking for the same results this week as last week. A lot of players on both teams hurt and some playing through the pain. Hoping for a injury free game. TigerNation!!!
  7. Here's a list and results of common opponent, only because there is several common opponents. Silsbee is 1-3 and Bridge City is 0-4 Tigers Cardinals PF PA PF PA v Newton 17 41 14 55 v Jasper 30 23 7 46 v WOS 17 34 6 39 v LCM 38 58 41 47 The Silsbee/BC game last year was a game for the ages. This year both teams have suffered several injuries that have forced both teams to play younger players.
  8. The Silsbee Tigers (2-4, 1-1) will host the Bridge City Cardinals (1-4, 1-1) in a pivotal district game. The Tigers coming off a big time win over Navasota (39-34) and the Cardinals coming off a emotional loss to LCM (47-41). Both teams have had their fare share of injuries. A big time district game at Tiger Stadium. TigerNation!!!
  9. The Astros clinched a spot in the World Series!!!

  11. Put a little more meaning than just making the playoffs.
  12. I want to see the Tiger team that was on the field before the storm. I want to see the swagger, the defense flying to the ball and gang tackling, I want to see some intensity, some attitude that was shown in practice and during scrimmage. I want to see a team come together and the seniors rally around the team and say we are better than this we have the tools all we have to do is apply ourselves on what we learn from the coaches. This team with the players we have and coaches can be extremely good. It's time to start saving the season and it starts this week. We are ONE!!! TigerNation!!!
  13. The Silsbee Tigers will complete a three games road trip this Friday when they travel to play the Navasota Rattlers. The Tigers (1-4, 0-1) looking to not get further behind in the district race while the Rattlers (3-3, 1-0) looking to stay unbeaten in district. Should be a good ball game in Navasota this friday. TigerNation!!!

  15. Nothing wrong with Silsbee offense, almost 400 yards and 38 points. Don't make sense. The offense was fine tonight. The defense has to tackle better. This is something the coaches drill in every practice, all the players have to do is take it to the game. The coaches can't get on the field and tackle for you. You got to have the want to. Also, if the team shadows on Barnes and Lowe and y'all still want to get the ball in their hands that is what doesn't make sense. Can't do nothing with two or three or four players around you. Now we have put ourselves behind the eight ball. This is nothing that can't be overcome, we gotta get healthy and we gotta tackle. TigerNation!!!
  16. Silsbee is beat up and going to have to rely on younger players to do the job. Next man up, when it your turn you got to get it. TigerNation!!!
  17. First district game in 10-4A. Silsbee Tigers (1-3) will travel over to Orange to take on the LC-M Bears (1-2). Which team will get the leg up on the district race?
  18. Oct. 13 Bridge City (0-3) at Cleveland Indians (2-2) Navasota Rattlers (2-3) at Hargrave Falcons (2-1) Silsbee Tigers (1-3) at LC-M Bears (1-2)
  19. Good game WOS, two test two weeks in a row and y'all passed. Good luck the rest of the way.
  20. Dak is not an elite QB, but he doesn't have many steps to take to get there. That's why is said in an earlier post teams will crowd the box making Dallas throw the ball to beat you. Last year Dallas had a 4-12 schedule to play this year Dallas is playing a 13-3 schedule. Dallas is a good team but if they don't grow and progress like they are going to have to do they will not get very far with this years schedule. Six points in the second half against the Rams is not acceptable, even though you put up thirty for the game. Got to play as a whole team. Offense did get on the plane to Denver and the defense stayed in the locker room after half time in Dallas last week.
