  1. Y'all ask what's wrong with you he offense? Doug Free!!! I have heard how this man was the week link on the line for several years, now we see how important he was. Run blocking and pass blocking not as good right now. I do think it will get better as soon as the O line gels more. Also, Dek and Dez needs to get in rhythm.
  2. The Silsbee Tigers will travel down to Alvin to take on Alvin Shadow Creek in a rare Saturday night game for the Tigers. Shadow Creek is a second year school, last year only having sophomore and junior players, and returns all players from last year.

  4. You mentioned the Cardinals without their starting RB Johnson, the Cowboys had five starters missing on defense, five. The Cardinals are a good team even at 1-2, to go in their house and beat them is not to shabby of a job. You even said they where ok so you have a low standard also. Call something what it is and stick to it. The Cowboys better get ready for seven/eight man fronts and hoping Dak can win games with his arm. If the Cowboys grow up like they gonna have to do this year to win games I see a good ending for this team, maybe not great but good.
  5. Kinda defensive there ain't you bud, feeling guilty are we. Not talking about your post, your post has nothing in it about players missing games. That's all!
  6. Woe, woe, woe!!! Hold up. Don't go spouting off about who players where missing for the game. Arizona had three starters out on offense and Dallas was without two of there best defensive lineman (suspension), rookie MLB, third string corners and safeties (because of injuries). So both sides were missing critical players. Now Dallas on offense and Arizona on defense was full strength. Dallas just beat a good team, that's all.
  7. People are saying Dallas is not as good as last year. Well at this point last year Dallas was 2-1 also. Dallas struggled in one game against a good team and all of a sudden Dallas is not that good. The teams Dallas are playing this year are better than last year. Very few teams in the NFL can do what Denver did to Dallas, put seven/eight men in the box and cover WRs one on one. Arizona tried but couldn't get it done. Dallas will be fine people. On to the next game.
  8. Update on Paxton Bryan, the Silsbee receiver that took a helmet to helmet hit from Jasper player. He regained his sight 30-40 minutes after the helmet to helmet hit. He has a concussion that he has to go to the hospital for checkups, also a knot behind his ear that was caused by the helmet to helmet hit from the Jasper player. There was blood coming out of his ear but it was from a scratch from his helmet. He has been cleared to go to school at the end of the week just for half a day only. Hopefully Paxton can start full days at school next week. Paxton is improving each day and he is hopeful to rejoin his team in a few weeks or so. TigerNation!!!
  9. Prayers to Silsbee's WR that was at hospital today for a speedy recovery. TigerNation!!!
  10. Backup Quarterback, two backup OL, couldn't run the ball to help out backup quarterback. Playing #4 University of Spoiled Children, you would think little ole Texas would have gotten blown out by four TD. Instead you got two defenses that shut down the run game on two running teams. Also, 2OT. Hookem Horns! The University of Texas Longhorns.
  11. Texas is killing themselves with mental mistakes. Could be winning?

  13. Just a question Badsanta. What make you think Collins is not a mobile QB?
  14. This Rivalry Game goes back further than any other in SETX. These two teams started playing way back in 1922. After one game they had to lock the refs up in the gym, for their protection, because of the out come of the game. Also, had a knock down drag out in the middle of town after another game and had to shut this rivalry game down for a while. These two teams are not next door neighbors, there are fifty miles of Southeast Texas road between them. Old time lumber towns, blue collar towns. Much respect these two teams give each other. Oh, Jasper, TX gonna be rocking come Friday Night. TigerNation!!!
  15. BadSanta you've said some stupid stuff on here and this ranks up at the top of them. STUPID

  17. blah, blah, blah, heard the same thing last year. Put this player here, put that player there. This aint working, gotta do this. You guys......There is a reason Silsbee tries to schedule top notch teams, teams that are not push overs. They make us see our flaws so we can work on them. And, just like last year watch this year play out. For me, knowing these players the way I do, I'm going to bet on the players to work their butts off and get it going in the right direction. TigerNation!!!
  18. Just talked to Coach Smith a little while ago. The Silsbee Tigers will report for practice Monday at 3:30. There will be a game with Newton on Friday, don't know about JV game. TigerNation!!!
