Nothing wrong with Silsbee offense, almost 400 yards and 38 points. Don't make sense. The offense was fine tonight. The defense has to tackle better. This is something the coaches drill in every practice, all the players have to do is take it to the game. The coaches can't get on the field and tackle for you. You got to have the want to. Also, if the team shadows on Barnes and Lowe and y'all still want to get the ball in their hands that is what doesn't make sense. Can't do nothing with two or three or four players around you. Now we have put ourselves behind the eight ball. This is nothing that can't be overcome, we gotta get healthy and we gotta tackle. TigerNation!!! -
Silsbee is beat up and going to have to rely on younger players to do the job. Next man up, when it your turn you got to get it. TigerNation!!!

Dak is not an elite QB, but he doesn't have many steps to take to get there. That's why is said in an earlier post teams will crowd the box making Dallas throw the ball to beat you. Last year Dallas had a 4-12 schedule to play this year Dallas is playing a 13-3 schedule. Dallas is a good team but if they don't grow and progress like they are going to have to do they will not get very far with this years schedule. Six points in the second half against the Rams is not acceptable, even though you put up thirty for the game. Got to play as a whole team. Offense did get on the plane to Denver and the defense stayed in the locker room after half time in Dallas last week.
-
Y'all ask what's wrong with you he offense? Doug Free!!! I have heard how this man was the week link on the line for several years, now we see how important he was. Run blocking and pass blocking not as good right now. I do think it will get better as soon as the O line gels more. Also, Dek and Dez needs to get in rhythm.
-
Dang it, my bad. I corrected it.

The Silsbee Tigers will travel down to Alvin to take on Alvin Shadow Creek in a rare Saturday night game for the Tigers. Shadow Creek is a second year school, last year only having sophomore and junior players, and returns all players from last year.

You mentioned the Cardinals without their starting RB Johnson, the Cowboys had five starters missing on defense, five. The Cardinals are a good team even at 1-2, to go in their house and beat them is not to shabby of a job. You even said they where ok so you have a low standard also. Call something what it is and stick to it. The Cowboys better get ready for seven/eight man fronts and hoping Dak can win games with his arm. If the Cowboys grow up like they gonna have to do this year to win games I see a good ending for this team, maybe not great but good.
-
Kinda defensive there ain't you bud, feeling guilty are we. Not talking about your post, your post has nothing in it about players missing games. That's all!
-
Woe, woe, woe!!! Hold up. Don't go spouting off about who players where missing for the game. Arizona had three starters out on offense and Dallas was without two of there best defensive lineman (suspension), rookie MLB, third string corners and safeties (because of injuries). So both sides were missing critical players. Now Dallas on offense and Arizona on defense was full strength. Dallas just beat a good team, that's all.
-
People are saying Dallas is not as good as last year. Well at this point last year Dallas was 2-1 also. Dallas struggled in one game against a good team and all of a sudden Dallas is not that good. The teams Dallas are playing this year are better than last year. Very few teams in the NFL can do what Denver did to Dallas, put seven/eight men in the box and cover WRs one on one. Arizona tried but couldn't get it done. Dallas will be fine people. On to the next game.

Update on Paxton Bryan, the Silsbee receiver that took a helmet to helmet hit from Jasper player. He regained his sight 30-40 minutes after the helmet to helmet hit. He has a concussion that he has to go to the hospital for checkups, also a knot behind his ear that was caused by the helmet to helmet hit from the Jasper player. There was blood coming out of his ear but it was from a scratch from his helmet. He has been cleared to go to school at the end of the week just for half a day only. Hopefully Paxton can start full days at school next week. Paxton is improving each day and he is hopeful to rejoin his team in a few weeks or so. TigerNation!!!

Prayers to Silsbee's WR that was at hospital today for a speedy recovery. TigerNation!!!

Backup Quarterback, two backup OL, couldn't run the ball to help out backup quarterback. Playing #4 University of Spoiled Children, you would think little ole Texas would have gotten blown out by four TD. Instead you got two defenses that shut down the run game on two running teams. Also, 2OT. Hookem Horns! The University of Texas Longhorns.

Texas is killing themselves with mental mistakes. Could be winning?
