The Silsbee Tigers (17-2, 3-0) will take to the road and play the LC-M Bears (10-9, 0-3) in a 22-4A District game. The Tigers beat HF last Friday 6-0 and LCM lost a close game against Orangefield 3-1. The Tigers are looking to stay undefeated in district play while the Bears are looking for their first district win. The Tigers have won six game in the past nine games against the Bears sweeping the series last year. The Bears won the playoff game. The festivities get started with the JV starting at 4:30 and Varsity starting at 7:00

The Silsbee Tigers (16-2, 2-0) will host the Hamshire-Fannett Longhorns (9-7, 0-2) in the second week of District 22-4A race. The Tigers are looking to stay perfect in district and the Horns are looking for their first district win. Both teams come off close games last Friday as Silsbee had to come from behind to beat Orangefield 7-6 and the Longhorns lost a close game to WOS 6-4. Silsbee is 15-4-1 in the last 20 games against Hamshire-Fannett. The Tigers swept series against the Longhorns last year, but both games went into extra innings. The games get kicked off with the JV starting at 4:30 and varsity starts at 7:00.

The Silsbee Tigers (15-2, 1-0) will host the Orangefield Bobcats (11-2, 1-0) in a game of district leaders. The Tigers are coming off a 9-1 win over Bridge City and the Bobcats are coming off a 8-4 win over Hampshire Fannett. The Tigers have a 17-6 record over the Bobcats over the last 23 game, these two teams split their series last year. It will be an EARLY start at the Tiger Diamond as these two team try to beat out the weather with VARSITY starting at 4:30 and weather permitting JV will follow.

It was far from great pitching on both side. Both teams worked out of jams early in the game. Both teams did what they could to move runners into scoring position. It was a tight ball game until Partain hit his grand slam. Then Sundgren settled in and pitched a solid game, Whitted came in a sealed the deal in the seventh. A great start for my Tigers in district. TigerNation!!!

The Silsbee Tigers (14-2,0-0) will travel to Cardinal land to take on the Bridge City Cardinals (9-5,0-0) in the opening district game for both teams. Bridge City has a 16-5 record over Silsbee over the past 21 games, but the two teams have split the season series the last two years. Two district rivals looking to get an early leg up in the district race. The JV will start at 4:30 and varsity will start at 7:00.
