The Silsbee Tigers and the Navasota Rattlers will play a 3 game series in the Area round of the Texas State Baseball Playoffs. Starting Thursday night at 7 and Friday night at 7 followed by a third Saturday at 1:30 if necessary. All games will be played at Humble High School.

The #23 state ranked Silsbee Tigers will be hosting the #25 state ranked WOS Mustangs in the last district game of the year. Both teams coming off losses are looking to get back in the win column. HJ snapped Silsbee seven game win streak and WOS is in a four game loosing skid. Playoff implications are all in this game. Silsbee is all alone in second and a win, with a BC loss, would be co-champs. A WOS win and they would be all alone in third, a loss could result in a big jumble for the final play spot. Big game in Silsbee Friday night against two state ranked teams.
