Another extra inning game in 24-4A

With the early game win last night Silsbee sealed a playoff spot and also sealed a spot for BC and WOS. HJ, LCM and OF are playing for the fourth playoff spot. Now as far as the seeding for playoff, y'all just stay tuned to 24-4A baseball and enjoy.

Hated to see him go, he needs to come back. Aaron has been playing ball with my boys for years. He is a running back, a hard runner that hardly comes down on first contact. He has a burst of speed on the first step, he may not pull away from the defender but he is hard to catch. A good receiver out of the back field. He doesn't fumble all that often. He is a freshman and he has room to improve and he will improve. He's a pretty good basketball player too.

If he is coming to Silsbee it will be for better academics and better athletics. It is a good move for Calvin because it's what he wants to do.

OK, back on topic! This class room stuff and who is going where is boring. Silsbee finished the competition part of offseason now we are going into the team building part of offseason. Go Tigers!!!

I'm pretty sure this young man, if he comes to Silsbee, will get just as many looks in Silsbee as where he came from.

If he comes to Silsbee he won't be playing Orangefield, HF, etc every week. He will have every bit as of a competitive schedule as any team in SETX.

The Silsbee Tigers (7-2) riding a district best six game win streak head to Orange to take on the LCM Bears (3-5) in a pivotal district game. The Tigers are coming off a big win over #16 state rank Bridge City and LCM is coming off a Bye. The Tiger swept the Bears last year and won game one this year 12-2. The weather may have a say in these games Tuesday, will there be games played in SETX Tuesday?
