Smh sad but true former Ozen and current United assistant football coaches and their and Stipends are treated like Associate Supreme Court Justices " Life Time Appointment" no matter who's hired as the Head coach. It's insane to handicap a new hire from from building his own program and staff. Mission accomplished eliminate the top shelf candidates then hire someone that will keep those nice guys thats on staff. How do they sleep at night jmo...

I admire your optimism. However hell will freeze before before either of those 2 qualified assistant coaches from proven programs will land the United job. JMO, it's a pipe dream to think those in power will do the right thing will. It may sound pessimistic but that old buddy system is still alive and well. I hope they prove me wrong. Staying local same results...Lock the back door !.... 😎

#17 Beaumont United Shewolves (26-4) (10-1) maintains a share of the district title lead. BMT Soulja or Alpha Wolf where's last years District Championship Banner for the boys and girls Basketball thats NOT displayed on United's Gym wall ? Just curious who takes care of this...This being a momentous achievement for both boys and girls inaugural season last year. Previously Bmt Ozen had the gym walls heavily decorated with numerous Banners and the Trophy case in the Foyer was filled with tournament trophys. Currently that Trophy case is empty. The girls went 35-1 last year winning several tournaments curious where are those trophies stored. If i'm correct there should be 5 banners in the gym. The girls district championship and Bi-district championship. For the boys there should be 3 banners for last year accomplishments. District Championship,Bi-district championship and the Area round Championship. jmo....

I was in attendance for this one it got ugly early. Subs played half of the 2nd and 4th quarters United was up 22-0 at the end of 1st Qt. The Final was United 75..Sterling 29 #8 Bmt United (25-2)( (8-0)

Hope your prediction materializes and the Shewolves takes care of their business Tuesday night. Just an observation NorthShore handled LaPorte Jan.3 (46-38) at LaPorte... Next meeting will be Jan.28 at NorthShore... Mission impossible No... Shewolves first district game of the season vs NorthShore at NorthShore a(61-58) loss had district title implication all over it. Riding on a 11 game win streak the mental aspect of the seriousness of this crucial opponent and game may have fallen short or NorthShore was the better team that night. Officiating is what it is but an excuse to some degree. Go Shewolves !

Well IDK, SetxSports has NorthShore ranked #1 in their poll ahead of #2 Bmt United with that said United is the underdog in this one. The contest will be played at NorthShore that in its self is an obstacle to be reckoned with. The winner will have a leg up on the district title for sure.
