True Blue

I realy dont understand why anyone would not go and get cert. if they were going to be a coach. Seems to me it would only make it eazer to get hired. In todays job market I dont see many schools just hiring someone to just be a coach and not also a teacher. But back on topic I just hope that Silsbee makes the right hire ,for the kids and town.

For once I am Right ;D You only have to be employed FULL TIME by the School to be a coach.... :D :D Nothing said about Certifition

As I said most schools will not wont to hire a coach that is not a cert. teacher also, but you only have to be a full time employee of the school. I know at Evadale the Golf and Tennis coach or teachers addes and dont have any collage what so ever. They are the head and only coach. Now your school might require a coach to be Cert. but its not required by the state.

He and the entire coaching staff have been nothing but great to my son this summer, in letting he come and workout getting ready to play collage ball this year. Even if he did not play in Sislbee last year. They are in it just for the kids ,and today that means alot to me.

To be a coach you only need be  employed by the school. You can be the cook and be a coach.

Well it looks like I will be watching collage basketball in Dallas this year, But my heart will always be in EC and my pride will lie in Evadale. I just hope to stay in touch with these two programs on here. Best of luck to both teams this year. It will be tuff for both clubs replacing the Srs  that left  these teams but as all good thing go, you cant stay on top for ever.

Coach T and his staff are opening the gym every day at 1:30 for kids to play. There are 3 local kid , that are going to play collage ball next year, that are working out there every day. And only one is from Sislbee. I personal wont to thank coach T for letting my son work out there.      Joe Dunigan

[/quote] Like I said The calls allways seem to even out in a 7 game series, and that happen last night. Just the Heat did not take adavantage of the calles. I still think that a 7' player should not relia on a fade away. And if you notice in the last two game he did not. He finish both games , taking the ball to the rack. He won game 5 by driving. Unlike game 4 with the fade away. But the league is changing and there is not a domating centers now. Its all power forwards and guards.

I dont know who is going to win game 7 but as much money as the NBA is lossing , it it definatly going all 7. The heat has the most talented players , but does not look like the best team at this point. The Mavs have gotten all the calls to go in their favor so far, but just cant see that continuing. Calls seem to always find a way of equaling out in a 7 game series.

Its allready been reported that the NBA is lossing tons of money, there is no way this thing aint going all 7 games... and the Heat will win it at Home ;D And everyone will say Dirks hurt hand killed the Mavs :o
