The Mavs will soon fade away also.
If you were watching no way he was getting to the rim. He is also virtually unblockable when he fades away. He is the best fade away shooter in the game today and possibly top 3 in history. When he fades away and has a great look like he had, it's just a matter or not if he happens to make that shot. You just hold your breath as a defense. Good win by the heat.
Why would anyone 7'4 have to shoot a fade away??? Unless he is scared to make contact ??? Just like the first time they lost to the heat, the game plain is to knock him down a few times and he starts chocking ??? Typical Europen player, soft and weak inside. Have you ever seen anyone over 7 foot ever have to shoot a fade away??
It is open. Zach Quinn has left his head coaching position to be AP at Vidor Middle School.
Last seasons pre dist schedule must have realy helped him get to the next level ;D :D :D
 3. 7'4 and shoting fade aways. What a puss. The Mavs will soon fade away also.
 4. Not trying to make any excuses for the loss but I just think that the Evadale boys were just tired of playing. They went 3 games deep in the football playoffs, and after lossing on Friday night they were in the gym Saturday morning and they went to the State playoff in basketball and after lossing Thur. they were on the Baseball field Sat. This group of boys have represented the Town of Evadale very well this year, and we parents could not be prouder of what they have done this year.
whats that matter ?
Cant wait to hear how the Galveston Ball Basketball team feels about having to do offseason football workouts during Basketball Season :o
 10. I just heard that Evadale won 25 to 0 in three endings :o
 11. add another homerun to evadale.. josh swift with a 2 run shot
 12. I Deff. understand what your saying. But Lets cut to the real chase,  Slick Rick has put us in this possision, by giving the oil comp. tax breaks back in 2006. And he needs to tap into the rainy day fund, and then roll back the tax cuts he gave his rich oil comp. friends..  And until this take place no schools jobs  will be safe. I have a daughter that is now in her last year in kinesioloigy and is plaining on being a high school coach. And right now that does not look like a great job with a bright futher.
 13. No I have the clue Its the rest of you Tea Party fools that need to get a Clue. You dont wont to pay any taxes But yet your the first to call when the house is on fire. Or the big bad wolf is at the door, and you need the law..

What makes you think that they need to play in tougher ones. Lets wait untill they show that they can compete in the smaller tourements before they sing up for the WMBL :o
 15.

If he has a medical reason to not workout at school (running), then how can he play in tourney games this weekend like Dove said he was preparing for? ::)
I have to admit the personal trainer has added to the boys skill set and they do not show that they are weaker, at least from what I have seen recently.  I guess each athlete can and should be treated differently.  Aggie you remember Red Auerbach and he used to say their are team rules and rules for Bill Russel I think ten rings later Red was right.  So give dove and the kids a break it is what it is and the proof will be in the rings that these boys promise to HF
;D ;D ;D Did you just say Ring and HF in the same sentence ;D now that is a 0xymoron  :D They need to set their goals more reachable, like just making it too the playoffs...
 16.

So, let's deal with reality.  In the free enterprise, private industry -- you know, what we call capitalism, people get laid off all the time.  INCLUDING older people with 20-25 years of good experience.  So, why should a school district -- that should be highly efficient with taxpayer's dollars -- be any different??!!   This is called the real world!
OK let me get this stright, You wont to force out the teaches that have been there for 20 to 25 yrs?? This means that a person that has spent their whole life doing one job will now have to go back out in the open job market, with only teaching experance, and find a new job??? Now remember these people are only 45 to 50 years old???  Thats what you wont??? You must be very young or just a fool.

You can’t legally target specifically older, longer tenured, teachers for layoffs.
Well you say that now, but if the Rep.party has their way and bust the Unions. They would be able to replace anyone that they wonted.
 17. Buddy you all hit the nail square on the head.. This all can be traced back to the price of gas. And by all means let not forget who was running the country when this all got started.... Bush, Cheney ... BIG OIL...  Why did we not finish the fight in Agafastain??? NO OIL... Why did we start the fight in Iraq??? Big Oil...
 18. There would be some that would disagree that schools have been highly efficient with tax dollars over that past 5 years.  Like, for instance, building million dollar football stadiums!!   Would this be the same Dist. that payes their Super. the highest salary in the State Of Texas, and supplys there maintance men F350 King Ranch Trucks. To drive back form the bars or give out Million Dollars contracts to their Electrion friends.. Is that the Dist your talking about?????? :o :o
 19. OK this might not be the right site for this but you asked.. First Slick Rick, has to tap into the rainy day fund, because these are the rainy days, Then they are going to have to raise taxes, well not so much as raise them just roll back the tax cuts that were given to the top 1%.. Lets not forget Mobil Exxon Made 30 BILLION in Profet last year. And that only one oil company.  Does anyone realy beleave they need a TAX BREAK??? And that is just ONE of the oil companys that punp oil from under ground in TEXAS>>> We are the largest oil producer in the United States ... I think they can pay their fair share ...We have lost tax revenew due to the poor ecom. But in that same  poor ecom. the oil companys have made record profites..
 20.
My statement was geared more toward 55+ Sorry, if I hurt your feeling. But if you want to cut cost, that's how you cut cost. Its a matter of numbers. I'm not saying its my favorite idea, but some people who been teaching for 30+ years don't let go of jobs. For a LONG time
OK your 55 and out of work?? You have 25 more years to live?? I guess you could just you move under a bridge and get a sign that reads 55 and put out to pasture??? Why would anyone wont to be a teacher with that to look forward to. You must be part of the TeaParty??? But you could always be a greeter at WalMart :D Just remember your getting older every day and one day this will be you that is being put out >:(
 21. OK let me get this stright, You wont to force out the teaches that have been there for 20 to 25 yrs?? This means that a person that has spent their whole life doing one job will now have to go back out in the open job market, with only teaching experance, and find a new job??? 22. So just from looking from the out side, what your saying that these championship players are on there own workout program. And they are working on their own skills with their personal trainers. But at what point are they going to become part of the TEAM at HF?? And at what point is it  going tocome to when the highschool coach tells them to run a play that  thier PESONAL Coach does not agree with..  Will they be part of the team at HF or the Superstar that is at HF just untill they move to the next level???
 23.

All Slick Rick is in it for is to make sure Mobile ExXon gets another tax brake. They only made 30 Billion profit last year, and Diesel is now $4 a gallon.
Exxon Mobile gets a local property tax break because the local counties decided the trade off of jobs created vs property tax collected on vacant land was a good trade off... All that gas you used driving to Austin this year helped contribute to the rising cost! haha
Like I said 30 Billion Profit... Remember No Child Left Behind.... And just how many of those jobs that were created were for local people???  That is the one that could speak English... But you did get one thing right I spent over $300.00 on diesle on those trips to Austin, but it was worth ever dime + more ;D ;D But lets not forget the trip to Collage Station ;D ;D
