This would be a good game for both clubs, with one being a team that has good guards and pressure the ball and the Rebs with three big guys and a good shooting guard.

If their big guys knock down the  shoots that they are suppost to, that take a lot of pressure of the point guards. But the biggest part is done, just make the dance and you never know what can happen. It has been 10 yrs that the Rebs won state and I was at that game, and would love to make another trip to Austin

But are you saying that he is calling the game on what he has heard about different players. And no its not the first Tech of the year the other one was for a foolish call also, For dunking in warmups. Again a case for the ref wonting to become part of the game.

How can that be a pattern whem it the first of a game and the first big block ??? So you and that fat ref just need to stay in 1a ball bacause that same emotion is show after dunks and ever block in the 3a 4a and5a games.And if they call tech after all those played they would get run out of the gym. 21 and 32 can eathe both start or come in off the bench, and it does not effect their play. But 43 leads the team with 108 steals. And 90% of those are all in the first Qr. Dont know why but the kid puts it all on the floor in the first 8 min. He seem to run out of gas in the second half but he is on fire the start of every game.

But look at the bright side. Vidor can look at all those trophys they won :o from all those 1a tournaments ;D ;D

[/quote] Tonight is the first game all year in dist that #21 has not started, he was sick all day yesterday.#32 has been the one comming of the bench,and your right they do seem to stay fresher. But you right about them handeling pressure. That has been their week spot all year. That is what cost us the last two losses. Both Leggett and HD play small ball with mostly guards. Not so much with Def. pressure but with quicker teams on the off. end they seem to get spread out and it has cost them on the boards. When 21 steps up to block the shot they are week on the boards on the back side.

Is is the biggest game of the year in this dist. EC win Dist. outright with a win, But Ana. can force a 3 way tie with a win. I bet Kountze fan are there and pulling hard for Anahuac. Should be a good game, Good luck EC, hope you can pull this one out.

This game could get close. #21 is running a fever and has been sick all day. He is Aver.14 points and 16 boards and 5 blocks in dist. If he cant go tomorrow night this game could go eather way.

It would not make a difference if Bobby Knight was WH coach, you have to have basketball player to start with. WH might be a great group of kids but I just did not see 1 true basketball player on their team. And you can blame that on the coach that left, for not teaching kids to play in 8 and 9 grade. Once a kid is a Jr, and Sr it to late to teach fundamantals. Just give coach Henry 3 yrs before you judge him. When the group that are Fr. now are Sr. then make up your judgement.

If Big Sandy beats Evadale Fri. they will be Dist. champs. and HD only has one dist game felt, with SP. And SP has 2 left with WH then HD. If they win out it will be a tie for the 3 spot, And with SP beating HD twice they will get the 3 spot. There will not be a playoff.

And as hard as leggett hit the boards  it was eazy to see that they just wonted it more. Their biggest kid was 6'1'' and they out rebounded the rebs 2 to 1 all night. And finished the game with 2 off. borads to win.

No I dont think SP will beat HD at home. But I also did not think Evadale would loss a dist game. When your dealing with 16,17,18 yr old kids you just never know. HD should win and be the 3 place team in this dist. But SP just aint out of it yet.

Evadale should win but they way they had struggled with smaller faster clubs you never know. I dont quite know but it just looks to me that Evadale is playing like they are tired of playing. There just is no fire in them right now. I hope they get it together fast or it will be a short trip in the playoffs. They have 4 good players but one of them is going to have step up and take control of this team. Right now it just looks to me that they have no leader, and they are just standing around and waiting for someone to take that roll.
