Refs are a part of the game and you have to adjust to the way they are calling the game. The refs had nothing to do with the out come of this game. If the Rebs take care of their jobs they should have won this game by 20 points and then the ref dont have a chance to make a call at the end of the game to win or loss it. And the ref that told you that the hand is part of the ball is right, but the arm is not. I know the call you are refering to and the Evadale player hit the guy right across the forarms. Like I said Make the shots, and rebound the ball and you win. The refs made call that could have gone eather way

Well I dont quite know what some of you were talking about?? The fans were not any worst than any other town I have seen and the Refs were not as bad as I was expecting. Yea there were a few calls that were home calls but you have to expect that  at anyones home floor. The Rebs just got out hustled, plain and simple. #21 got in foul trouble and had to sit, and #32 and 43 did not take advantage of their size and let the smaller club just rebound until they made the basket. At one time Leggett got 5 off. boards in a row. And they lost the game by letting Leggett take the clock down to 5 sec. and then take the last shot to win the game, they played good def. and made the kid take a bad shot. Leggett missed the first shot but got 2 off. boards to win the game at the buzzer. The Rebs have got to take advantage of the mis match in size if they plan on doing anything in the playoffs. This is a team game and they have to know what their role is in this team. #21 has to stay out of foul trouble and play def. block shots and rebound the ball. #3 has got to shoot the 3, #32 has got to score inside and rebound, #43 has got to keep up the intence def. and steals and Rebound the ball. I just hope that they will learn from this loss. Because if they play a game like this one or the HD game, they will have a short trip in the playoffs. All this being said the home cooking did come out in the end. The score keeper turned the buzzer off after the last time out, Leggett started their drive with 5 sec. on the clock. he started from the top of the key drove the right side , he shot with 3 sec. and missed they got the rebound came down and went back up and missed again. the clock ran out, and then one of their players went up  and put it back up. The clock was at 0 right after the second player shot, and there is no way the third guy got that shot off. And the buzzer still has not gone off.

You might wont to tell you coach about the tire draging program. It realy does wonders on the backs of your 6'5'' players. ;)

[/quote]Not making any excuses but the Lose to Cayuga was by 8 points I would not call that beaten soundly, but they did get hammered by HJ the next day. But they had only been playing 1 week when they went to that tour. The lost to Kountze the second time was a good game but they did not have one of their leading scores. Also the first of the year they were looking for a point guard to step up and earn that spot. That has all been in the pass and they are looking forward to the playoffs.  I just know that you have put Spurger, and some of the teams in that Dist. ahead of them. So after they beat every team in that dist, I would hope you could see that they are better than those teams. And I have never said that you did not know much about the game. You just seem to have a hard time giving Evadale credit for having a good team.

They played all bigger schools in preseason and play them well, they have beaten Goodrich, Spurger, and next they play Legget. So I was just asking ,if they beat Legget at their home will you then give them the credit that they deserve??

I dont know if he was at the game ,but I was, set first row behind the Evadale bench. And the only time the Evadale coach had anything to say to the Ref is when Evadale was shoting FTs It was a 2 shot foul and the refs let the HD player take the first miss and run up the floor. But they cought that misstake and Evadale shot their 2 shot. And as far as the bad mouthing The HD players were running their mouths from the tip off just as much as the Rebs.  But that game was last week and HD better get ready to play SP because if they loss again they can watch everone else play in the play offs.

I hear that they have hired someone. I also hear that the pay was 3000.00 for three months. I bet they got a top notch guy for that kind of money... :D Who in the world can work for 250.00 a week???

Evadales big three were realy unhappy with the way they played agains HD on the def. side. Looks like they took it out on SP today, with only allowing only 14 points in the first half. Looks like the train is back on the track and headed for the next game.

Evadale is by far the better team, but if they dont comeout ready to play,and play better def. than what they played against HD they could get upset again. That is why they play the game.....

If HD playes BS like they played Evadale , there could be a 3 team tie for the last 2 spots. SP, BS, HD. JMO HD is the best of the three

Just a question, has anyone else seen this. When one team has players that are 3 or4 in. taller than the other team, the refs seem to let the smaller players beat and bang on the bigger  guy and  no call is made. But if the bigger guy playes the same def. on the smaller guy the ref call a pushing foul. They seem to try and even it up due to the one guy being smaller. I dont think that is in the rule book.
