Con grads to the bob cats they came out on fire with 7 3 pointers in first half. And hit 11 for the game. Evadales 3 point guy was just cold to start the game. He realy steped up the last 2. min with 3 in a roll to put the Rebs back in the game, but #21 and 43 fouled out at the end of the 4th and #32 just could not handel the boards by himself in the over time. If HD playes everone else like they played to night they might have a shot to get the 3 spot in the dist. No excuses they just got out played. But just keep on playing, the playoff wont get any easier.

I hear what your saying, I just took it as some one was blaming George and saying he was not putting it all out. And I know that aint the case. He wonts to win and go to the  next step as much or more than anyone.  Good luck and hope to see your guys make it to the playoffs.

[/quote] I have watch George play for 6 yrs and I have never known him to ever play with a chip. But I can see were he is getting upset this year. He does not have a great supporting cast, he has a good point guard to get him the ball. But anyone that has seen them play, they just need to double him and make someone else beat them. and no one has steped up do help. In the two game that they have lost in dist. he has scored 51 points. Looks like the kid is doing all he can to help his team, just need some of that supporting cast to step up and help...JMO....

There is a slim chance that the winner still has a chance for the 3 place spot. But OF went to HF and won, I dont see HF going to OF and beating them there. Not with the way the HF coach makes sure that all his players play the same amount of time.  ;)

I heard some of the silsbee players saying that they were upset with the way they played the first time. They felt that they let HJ stay in the game to long and that they should have pull away in the first half. Dont know if that will happen but I look for them to come out early and try to put HJ away . If HJ can stand that first big push they may have a chance to win this one. But if Silsbee gets a 10+ point lead this one will be over. I just dont see Silsbee giving up a lead with the team speed they have.

How far can Evadale make it this year in the playoffs, And who will give them the most trouble????

BS by 15 I just dont see WH with a scorer that can match BS. WH plays hard just does not have a true Basketball player, no one that can score.

I think that the Rebs did take HD a little lightly the first time, and HD came out to play as if they had nothing to lose and every thing to gain. After that 1 half wake up call the Rebs have been playing like they are the best team in this dist. They have proven that on any night any one of the four starters can put up 20 + points. The point spread does not mean that much but the Rebs come away with their 6 win in a roll.

The Legget game is schueled for 6:00 Tues. 8 .There is only going to be 1 game.

Your right the dist in whole is weeker than in past. We play Legget next monday night there, after that I will have a better fell on how we will play in the playoffs. If we beat them we will have beating the 3 leaders in that dist. You have said that you think that they play better with 2 bigs on the floor at a time ,with one getting rest on th bench, But now when they play 3 bigs on the floor and the shoting guard, teams dont  know who to guard. All three big players can shot the 15 ft over most teams so if the double that opens up down low and no one can match their size one on one, and if they try and play zone the guard kills them with the three. Just looks to me that they are peaking at the right time.

But with that being said I also looked at what each team had coming into this year. Spurger had to good players returning form last years team, but Evadale had 3 big Srs and a good shoting guard coming back. And in 1a ball most games come down to match ups. And right now most 1a teams cant match up with them. But its all good I was just giving you a hard time ;D

Im not saying that the calls were wrong ,just that if one team shots that many FT it is going to affect the out come of a game.
