[/quote] I have watched 20+ games this year and over all the officiating has been pretty good. I have only seen 3 games that were call bad, and in those games there was only one guy out of the three that was bad. The only bad thing about that is that two of the bad games were call bad by the same guy. I just wish that there was someone in charge of the officals that you could send film too were bad call were made. Maybe if the guys could look at the calls they got wrong he would make the right call the next time. And I know that there is no way that anyone will get the call right evertime, but right now the games are just warmups for dist. so just hope that the officals are getting better ,like the teams.

Score was a lot closer than the game realy was. Evadale was up by 11 going into the 4 and then OF started putting pressure on the ball and as allways Evadale turned the ball over 7 times to let OF back in the game. Evadale was up by 4 with .7 sec. so they let them drive and make the 2 to make it a 2 point game. But at the end of the day a W is a W. With a win over BC and a Win over OF looks like 1a Evadale could fight for the 3 place playoff spot in 3a ;D

[/quote] You are preaching to the choir...But JMO I would wont a guard that is wild and fast over one that is scared and unwilling to push the ball up the floor.

This is one of those games that match ups just dont look good for EC. HJ has got to much size on the inside. Look for it to be a long night for the small post players for EC

[/quote] I am very proud of the fact that he has steped up and is taking responsibilte for his child, I just hate to see him lose his Sr year. Now a far as him being a point guard Evadale does not need a guard to be able to shoot they have plenty of scores they just need someone to get the ball up the floor with pressure.

I have a daughter in collage now that is wonting to be a football coach :o Dont know how thats going to workout ;D

There was only 2 1a schools in the tournament just the luck of the draw that they both ended up in HJ pool ;). But with that being said, 3 out of the 4 team played in the championship games came from that pool. JMO pool A was the strongest pool to play in...

After see some of the scores by BS and SP looks like WH and HD should be in the hunt for 2 and 3 place in their dist. behind EVadale.

I think a lot of this is due to the guys these kids look up to as hero's. Just look at how many players get cought in airports, in cars and bars with weed and other drugs. And nothing or very little happens to them. Just look at Vick now.. Had problems with drugs in Atal. then went to jail, but now hes a hero again, for some..These guys get payed alot of money to play a game. It should be a privilege to play and if they abuse this privilege they should never be allowed to play again.. That would stop all this tommorow...

This Friday night they play Spurger and that should tell more about were they are at, seeing they are close to the same size. All but 1 of the teams that they have played this year have been bigger schools.

Evadale has a center and two forwards aver. over 10 points a game but you have to have a guard get the ball up the floor in their hands. They have a shooting guard that shoots the set shoot 3 very well, and in games were they are able to get the ball up the floor and in his hands at his set spot , he is aver. 40% but in games were he is forced to help bring the ball up the floor he is only shooting 20%. But with only having 4 days  of practice and playing 12 games, its a work in process ;)

[/quote] I am not coming down on the kid for steping up to his responsiblites I was just saying that it was a waist of tallent. And just because I was not here ,I still made ever game I could when we were off. So I still can say I have been with them that long. And I still think this group will make it to the playoffs ,but unless they start getting better guard play they wont be going all the way...

Well see that I watched about 10 games at the HJ Tour. I have to agree with you some. All but one game was call very well. and the other game only had one guy that was bad. And when say bad thats no were close to getting how bad this guy was. His calls had nothing to do with the out come of the game but he was a joke. He went to make a charge call and pumped his fist grabed the back of his head and then spit out the whistle, the fans started laughing at him so he just walked away and did not make anycall at all. Then he made a call against one player but when he got to the table he changed his call and gave the foul to another player that was on the other side of the court. The guy should have never been calling a highschool game. Maybe Jr High but the game that highschool boys play was way to fast for this guy. By the time he started to make a call the ball was all ready  going the other way.

I for one would like to thank the fokes from HJ for letting Evadale get into this Tour. They played 6 games in 3 days against ever good, bigger teams. They played 5 hard games and the score in all 5 were with in 10 points. They did lay a egg against HJ but in all I am very proud of the way they played. Look at the pool that they were in, ever team from that pool play in a Championship game.. Again Thanks to the fokes from HJ..

[/quote] The game I have seen so far have been called pretty good, but last night a watch one crew that had one of those guys that wonted to make himself part of the game , and he came in and overrulled calls that were made under the basket and he was at midcourt on the far side. After the third time he tryed that, I saw the other two tell him that that was not his call.... But at one point there as foul call on a shoot and the ball never mad it to the rim, after they made the call to the table they ask the kid did he make the shot??? the kid said oh yea it went in.. they gave him the points and he made the one free throw. Then turned and busted out laughing... :D :D

Thats right Evadale has not got a strong point guard, and thats like having a car but no motor.. Any team that is going to put pressure on them will make it hard to get the ball in the front court. This is a full court game and if your point just playes good Def. your not going to win many big games. They will blow thru their dist. but that not what this group of players have work for their intire life. They have ever expection of going deep in the playoffs, and unless they start getting better guard play that aint going to happen. #3 does shoot a pretty 3ball from a set shot but if you cant get him the ball that aint happen. They beat Bullard by 10 tonight but should have beat them by 20 or more. I stoped counting the tourovers at 20, you cant beat good teams with that many.

But I did not leave the GYM I just went to look at the bracket to see what time we play tonight.. But I will admit I was not happy with the way Evadale played.. They can say they were tired but, showup or stay off the floor.. I knew before the game that we did not match up well. Evadale has a week guard play and I knew the HJ was going to put alot of pressure on the ball.. The main reason the Cayuga game was close is  that they did not press. the ball and let Evadale play a half court game. Evadale could not match their lenght but they did a good job on the boards. I will make it a point to come by tonight before the HJ EC game and say hello.

This was a strange game, it was the first time I saw a coach just quit in the 3 qr. EC was up by 4 with 2 min. left in the qr. and the Bullard pulled all his big players out, set with his arms crossed and watch the lead go to 10 ,and never said a word ??? Maybe he was making a point to his team, but I could not tell what it was ???

Dont expect alot out of the Rebs this morring, I just watch them getting in the van, and they looked like the walking wounded. All 3 of the big kids are sore. The 2 games that they played yesterday were very physical. But like someone has said " experiences that dont kill you, make you stronger"
