This person just posted the stats that this kid has this year. He might play for a lossing team but give the kid his due. I hate that evertime someone says that there is a good player on a certain team someone from the great Kville has to say that they have someone better. Kville is having a good run now , and has for the last couple years but dont forget that it was not that long ago that they were the wipping boys of SETX and everone would beat them like a brum.

You are prob. going to get a ton of names, but I think that the best passer is the Taylor kid from Hardin, the best rusher is Nichols from Evadale, and the MVP of his team is the Jones boy from EC All three of these players are the leaders of their teams and without them they dont win. So it is hard to say who is the best at just being a QB, but these are the best at leading their teams.

Again you are talking Team stats were we were talking individual stats, But that was last year, lets see who does what this year. HJ is playing in a tuff dist. were they could be 1st or 3d just as eazy. I wish them all the luck in the world and will pull for them just like last year, And if we get knocked out of the playoff first, we will be there pulling for them again this year.

You can talk your crap all you wont, but look at his stats from last year. You cant your 5 was on JV so there is no # for him. But I just hope that they get to go against each other this year and we will see then.

[/quote] You are right there will be some real good teams in both tour. I think Evadale will go in thinking that if they play well in these games that will be as good as a win against weeker teams. I think that there 2,3,4,5, players are as good as any around, just hope that there 1 guard comes around. He sat out last year so he  is a little behind. I also think that no one will have as big of a team as them.

Evadale wins this one big, First Dist. game for them, 28 to 0 . They have 3 shutouts this year and they are trying to get 6 shutouts this year.

EC 45 Hardin 28. Hardin will put up points , just cant stop anyone from putting up more.

We hear that every year ,that Evadale plays in a week Dist, Well all they can do is play the teams that are in front of them. They play as many pre dist. games against bigger schools as they can. But its hard to get bigger, better schools to play, they have nothing to gain and every thing to lose by playing a smaller school. And they never play a 3 place team because they get the first bye and by then the 3 place is out. And I am not talking trash , the fact is that Evadale is the best 1a school in this area. And I cant recall when the last time any school in this area won state. The best thing about this year is that Evadale WILL WIN DIST. IN EVERY SPORT Football , Basketball, and Baseball. How mant SETX teams will say that at the end of this year.

Evadale will get a quick look at what kind of team they will have this year. They are in the HJ ,and EC tour. this year so they will see some real good teams early in the season.

The only reason that Evadale has not scored 50 this year is the Coach has put the brakes on ,and has not wonted to run the score up just to show some one up. They have not throwen the ball over 10 times in any game yet. They have not had to, most teams they have played so far cant stop the run so why would they throw. But make no mistake they can , and will when they have to. The only thing that will stop them from putting 50 on any team in this Dist. is the coach has to much class to show up another team.

JMO but reading what this kid said happen, He did not go to the coach and start anything. Someone, that wonted to start shit, went and told another player that 3 other players were talking about him. That player went to the coach and this were it gets started. The coach then called the player in to talk with him. At this time the coach told the kid that he and his dad could stick there opinion up there ass. To me the coach call this kid out, so his choice was to quit and leave. Now a hole set of other coaches have decided that he will now not be able to play anywere his Sr, and last year. Now who is being hurt by this? A KID. If anyone is at work and they were to get called out like this they could sue, or leave and get another job. But they would be able to go work some were. But Not this KID the is finished as far as high school sports. Who is being hurt. A KID.

Hay BigMo what is the state record for longest fieldgoal in 1a?? I look for the Rebs to be so far out in front that coach Will starts trying to kick FG on first down just to keep from running up the score. I Know Swifty can kick  35 yrds pretty eazy, just wondering what the Longest in 1a is.

Dont know anything about Coach Ls ( that is what the kids are calling him) coaching style, but as of right now all the kids seem to love him. He has steped into a great job, the Rebs look to be the fav. team in this Dist. and they should make some noise in the playoffs. As with the football team, they will have alot of Srs with alot of size. They will be able to put a intire 6' team on the floor if they wonted to. With a 6'7'' center two 6'3'' forwards and two 6'0 guards.

This will all go away if Ned. wins But if they lose this will blow this team up. I hope for the Srs that they work it out. I would hate to see them lose there last year over something this simple.
