  1. I like to see everyone underestimating the Cardinals. I understand why the perception of the team is what it is. No sense in trying to convince anyone otherwise. If we can't do it on the field, we don't deserve to get anyone's respect. I think there will be some people who are surprised this Friday. Cards will take this one in a close battle. Then maybe we can get a little respect.
  2. "Chunking up a lost". :? Exactly what language would you be trying to speak here? I have an offer for you, balla  : If Kville beats us, I'll fund a literacy class for you so that you can communicate on this board in a manner that can be read!! How about that? Wouldn't you like to be able to write and communicate English like the rest of us on here? :?: Let's see you "freakin romp" on some spelling and language courses, buddy. That would probably impress everyone more than a Kville win! Tell Uncle Balla hello for me, Einstein. And keep on posting! You make us all grateful for staying in school.
  3. Both teams conduct themselves with a lot of class. I am hopeful that Silsbee will demonstrate that there is at least one team in the district that can compete with the Mustangs, even though I don't think the Tigers will be able to win. I always root for the underdog in a game like this, but realistically I have to do with WOS by at least 14. (Sorry Tigers - prove me wrong!!) Hope both teams have a great game without injuries. Good Luck!
  4. If BC doesn't make it, I will follow and support any team that wins the district. (Yes, Kvilleballa, even Kirbyville) At the end of the season, we all have the same racehorse, and have to hope that they represent us well as they compete at the next level(s).
  5. It will be a battle. Our neighbors to the North are having a good year, and have shown a lot of talent and grit so far this season. However, BC is showing signs of strengthening, and Johnny looked pretty good last night. The passing game got off the ground a little last night, also. I am sticking with my Cards on this one, but it will be close!!!
  6. Jasper played us hard, and gave us a run for the money. I doubt very seriously they will remain undefeated much longer. The change in QB was definitely noticable. We are improving daily, and I'll reserve my thoughts on Kville until it's time. Right now, gottas focus on them other Cats just down the road. The Bayou Bowl!!!
  7. Congratulations Wildcats. You have put Bridge City, Hampshire-Fannett, and maybe even Silsbee on notice. Kvilleballa, the 50 points sounds a little high, but I'll try to stay open-minded.
  8. fort - "a fortified place for military defense" (Webster's New Dictionary). Maybe you can get Uncle Balla to buy you one for Christmas. Don't forget to ask if they want fries with their order today, you mental giant you.
  9. Really good spot. Keep up the good work.
  10. I really enjoyed the team supper at Mr. Mc's. Hope you are right about the attitude - wherever it is. And now it's time to focus on what's in fromt of us. Jasper. In the end we're on the same team and should not continue to go at it over issues of perception. I agree to disagree. Hope you can move on as well. If you want to IM me and tell me who you are, I'll gladly do the same. Otherwise, good luck in the game.
  11. So refreshing to hear from a real expert! Thanks for that enlightening information. I see the light now! You sound like a Kelly HS fan, though.
  12. The game is with Jasper. HF will have to wait.
  13. Diddo, Birdman. The team has yet to showcase all of its talent. There are others on this team that can produce, but haven't yet gotten the opportunity. JD is awesome, and I'm a big fan, but I believe we could still be competitive if it was necessary for him to sit out, provided we did not have the "revolving door" lineup you've described due to injuries. But, it appears that our perception may not be shared by all, so...
  14. BRAINDEAD - please do not resuscitate! Silsbee has made a believer out of me. They may be the only team that has a chance to give WOS a run for their money (using the ball with built in handles). Don't know much about HF other than stats, but I hope they got a medic on the sidelines, cause the Tigers just keep coming. Good luck to both teams. Silsbee by at least 20.
  15. If you know "I Tell It Like It Is", maybe you could share this with him personally. Keep up the hard work - it's going to pay off!!
