That might be true due to transfers but I think strategy wise he is the man. Not knocking Hickman it’s hard to keep a good group of kids on the prize, and he got thrown in a job with extreme high expectations.

So with CT the last 4 years gave up 32 points to Fannett with a 4-0 wins. Hickman gave up 95 points and is 1-3 against them. Let me guess you’re going to use the cop out and say it was the drop in the talent at WOS.. The point is CT is a better defensive coach.

You are right but was defense better those years? Was the HF and Silsbee games close during district? Or did they dominate those games? I think it’s the way WOS plays now that people don’t like. WOS was known for defense and not given up 20 points to Fannett.

Peevy is Orangefield graduate. I do believe Peevy probably had no idea until after the game. They just did damage control after they found out because you would have to suspend the defensive coaches and most likely forfeit the game.

He might be a great coach, but when you make ethical mistakes over and over again it’s time for a change. When a student has enough sense to hand it to an adult and the adult doesn’t have enough sense to give it to the proper chain of command there is an issue with that. Hunter was a good player at LCM and most likely wants to win at all cost. Thats why I said maybe he needs to go somewhere he is not so close too

One guy made a bad decision. To come to find out this is his second time maybe it’s time for him to find another school and reevaluate his career. But for the most part LCM and community is good place. People/teams cheat on every level to gain the upper hand.
