  1. Does Jeffcoat really play that style of ball? I thought that was the last’s head coach strategy along with some temper tantrum along the bench
  2. I’m just hoping they can finish the game this time. Lol
  3. LC-M final score was higher than Lumberton. We should have competed in 5a lol
  4. To answer your question. LCM school tax is probably one the highest in the county last I checked a few years ago. The “trash” that you speak about in football has a overall winning record over Vidor, orangefield and Bridge City. If we are trash what are they? With WOS leading the wins in OC we are at 2nd. LC-M did bring up Crouch at the school board from what I Hear and one board member was oppose of not making any changes. There’s have been plenty of people complaining. I’d rather pay higher taxes for a winning coach for my trash of neighbor hood lol.
  5. Hey now be easy only one mustang fan wants a parade lol. Maybe after all attitude is right they can follow the Cleveland Browns in a parade haha.
  6. Your a comical person. You might enjoy taking shots at LCM, which is fine. But how is that parade coming along or the 300 people that agree with you? Did you even graduate from WOS or you just riding along with the mustangs? You know there's a reason why citizens moved out of WOS school district or pay to send them to LCM, and have you ever wondered why?. You know your right maybe LCM doesn't work hard on the football field but maybe the parents wanted their child to work harder academically and be challenged in the classroom. I'm not going to insult WOS by any means just because you like to down grade LCM to make yourself feel better.
  7. I was wondering what the ages are for flag football?
  8. Yeah I agree. I think it will be a longer year for my Bears lol
  9. I did scout Gilmer.. I was kind of Shocked that yalls high school was not updated. But the football field looked great
  10. I drove through there yesterday and it looked nice. I was looking for property in east Texas.
  11. Hey man why don’t you go work on your parade and while your at it go ahead and order some state championship rings for your WOS kids.
  12. Are you an old football coach? Also do you know any state championship teams that won one with the least amount of talent?

Can you atleast tell me if Jeff Mathews has done a better job then the guys before him? Vidor has no growth and nothing has really changed in 30 years. To yall Vidor fans I'm not trying to cut yall down I'm just trying to show him that coaches do a better jobs then others. Talent does take how far in the playoffs you go but without good coaching to keep it together it will fall apart.
  14. Well first off I'm not going to do a report into economic on cities. My point only was that I think some coaches do a better job then others. They are able to lead there team on to the field and they are prepared. When I see a head coach walk away from his team and stands away from them while the game goes on how do you think it makes those kids feel? Body language and motivation has a lot to do with winning. The next thing I see we have players on the sideline refusing to go in the game. The next thing ive seen coaches arguing on the sideline while the game is going on how are you gonna win at anything if you cant get along together on the same team. My point is some people are better under pressure and better at managing football games. Just like a business sometimes the owner/manager can run it better then the other store across the street.
  15. See he's trapping you in that question first off Briles probably would never go to a school like those because they want pay him. Carthage, Austin Westlake or Katy are going to pay for a top notch coach those other schools couldn't afford him
  16. Yeah and honestly coaching is a hard job. They always get criticized from us bleacher coaches. Some head coaches make great leaders and some go down under the pressure trying to win. I think all coaches want to win but I think they are better Coaches out there that can get it done. I spoke to some coaches before about this and this is what they told me. In higher classifications like 6a and 5a they have more talent to pull from so you could have at best average coaching staff because talent can help them win, and get further in the playoffs. They also told me playing in lower classifications 4a down its better to have very good coaching staff and because you have less talent to pull from you can coach discipline football and prepare the kids. That's just the coaches that I have gotten opinion from. IM not saying there right but they have a point.

Some Coaches do better jobs then other coaches at motivating players and his assisting coaches. Now do I think talent plays a roll in winning championships sure it does but I also think an average team could win at least 10 games a year with a good coach that makes a discipline team. I'm sure some folks will disagree but some people do better jobs then others that's why they get paid more like Surratt. By the way Can LCM hire Surratt back please? lol
