1. Ok thanks. This is Coach Harley last year at LCM I was hoping they would have a good year.
 2. I understand that, Silsbee is a good team. Other then HJ and Silsbee will LCM be likely to make the playoffs. Like I said I have not kept up and I have not went to one game.
 3. How's LCM doing this year in bb? I see a Silsbee fan saying they smashed them. I really have not kept up with them this year.
 4. Yep. I don't know how accurate they are. I'm sure there's a closer team. I would have assumed they would have made Ozen drop down. Do you how good Navasota will be next year? I'm sure if they were in our district they would be the favorite to win it
 5. [Hidden Content] I see they put Navasota down in our district interesting
 6. I remember this. When we came back to school on Monday our principal came over the loud speaker telling us he had to go over to PNG to smoke a peace pipe with them. It was funny none of our administration cared lol
 7.
It is going to be a long long long season for LCM. Scrimmage or not the coaches for LCM prepared their team to get whipped on both sides of the line. If you could have seen the game you would know that this let down does not come from the kids. Who were the spectators on the sidelines with the green and gray shirts and shorts on? “PREPARE TO WIN” you are wearing it go out and do it.
I agree they did not look good. I thought they looked better last week. I hope they can turn it around
 8. With seeing some of the LCM and Goose Creek scrimmage. I would have to lean towards Lumberton winning the game or it will be close game.
 9. Ill be at the scrimmage this week when they play LCM. Maybe then I will  make a prediction on the game.
 10.
got a transfer RB from PAM... He will help.
Really what grade is he in?
 11.

I'm hoping the Bears have a breakout season this year.  They do have enough talent to surprise much of the district.  Even though ALL teams are optomistic at this point in the season, the Bears will always be "middle of the pack" at best in the preseason rankings until they prove otherwise on the field.  20-4A is extremely tough physically, but LCM has to overcome the mental side of knowing how to win as well.  I think Crouch is a good leader in that respect. The few times that LCM has won the district they were picked towards the bottom in those years too...maybe this will be one of those eye opening seasons wehn LCM has something to say about who goes to the playoffs.  Go Bears!
They will have a powerful O-line and thats where it starts!!
There o line will be very good. I think if they could work on the defense side of the ball they should be able to beat several teams
 12.
Your right.... When he had Eckard and guys that was taught to block he had something his first years .... After that it was down hill .... I sat the stand for three years watching a 3 and out offense and the defense battle it out all game...  Sorry but it was hard to watch
Well I'm sure talent had something to do with it. I saw  Georgetown no huddle spread offense dominate a good Nederland defense.  I believe that style of offense would help with the lack of their size and help open big plays in the run game. I don't know what Haynes runs. Does anybody have a idea?

For lumberton fans that don't remember it was a sick sight!!
He was the coach in 2001 right?
I played against him in the 2000 season. I think he left in 04 or 05
 14.
I'm just hoping lumberton is not returning to FULLER Football...... For lumberton fans that don't remember it was a sick sight!!
What is Fuller football? I played against Lumberton while they had Fuller and they did not have a bad team. There defense lacked but they could spread the ball around the field.
 15. The football team better get better because I'm buying land in that school district lol
 16. Anyone know who they hired? They just took the job listing off their website.
 17. I HAVE A QUESTION DOES THAT TIE LCM AND VIDOR FOR THE 4TH SPOT FOR THE PLAYOFFS? I WAS WONDERING WHO WAS GON TO BE IN?
 18. Anybody have any ideas who would want  the Lumberton job? Im hoping the Lumberton ISD can find a good coach with only a several months until football season.
 19.
Nederland owns the throne until someone knocks them off. Vidor, PNG and possibly Livingston to fill it out. The beaumont schools struggled with talent this year, coaching is suspect again. LCM has to prove they can close out a football season and learn to play defense. Lumberton has a lot of struggles. We lose Montana but return the entire offensive line except Devon Asher who played more defense at the end of the season. I see Sage Smith @ QB.
The correct spelling is Devin.
 20.
I do apologize if I come across as being rude in my last few statements.  I am very passionate about this topic.  Chris17 you are correct.  WOS does have a huge stadium, and I they definately need upgrades on the stadium size.  My point would be a football program like WOS with all that tradition, in my opinion would make since if they got field turf.  Regardless of the situation in the town, if the administration and community supported it and had a plan, it would be doable.
Yes it would look alot better. LCM also needs larger stadium. I like a grass field, and I did not like playing on turf. I don't know if you have ever seen Daingerfields stadium, but its not a pretty sight. They have a good football program there, and I would have thought they would have had a better facility

Giant video board not needed!jmo
Once again, OFCOURSE ITS NOT NEEDED, but wouldn't it be a nice upgrade to get say field turf.  Did you think the track was needed?
Sure it would but my point is that the places that are building these big complexes are booming
WOS has to have the largest 3a stadium in the state of Texas
What does WOS having a large stadium have to do with this topic?
I was making a statement.. sorry

I'll worry about the football season last.  I think if your child is good enough to play at the next level he will.
Unfortunately it goes together. School that have the willingness to spend that kind of money are also going to have the best teachers. Teachers would rather work at Barbers Hill than Evadale I promise. We all know why. You say you'd rather spend money on teachers..we're not even doing that.
I agree we are not, and it's very sad. Football is just a game. I think we should educate the kids where they can make good money. Barbers Hill's teachers make a pretty nice salary, but their football team is average.  I can't move to the Austin or Dallas area because I would take a pay cut working there, so I'm stuck in setx.
