1. No I am not from Cleveland.  Indian Fan, great post.  There are metal detectors just about anywhere this day and time.  Big deal - walk through one.  If you don't have anything to hide then nothing lost, right?  And from what I am told, the incident that happened after the CS/Cleveland basketball game a few years ago was a COLDSPRING kid that opened fire. Have some things happened in the past at Cleveland?  Yes.  Have things happened in the past at PNG, Huffman, Navasota(had to throw that one in there), Barbers Hill, Nederland, Livingston, and Coldspring - Yes they have.  Kids are kids.  Quit using the past to put down the kids at Cleveland. Like I said in a previous post - both teams played hard and wanted to win.  Coldspring was the better team.  They won the game.  Congrats to the Trojans. And to answer Indian Fan - yes I did see the sportsmanship from both sides.  Helped each other up, patted on the back, all of that good stuff. Coldspring is a pretty good town.  Good people with good morals.  The coaching staff and athletic program is top notch.  I am hoping that everyone out there doesn't judge Coldspring based on some of idiot posters on here representing them.
2.

does WOS play the winner?
Unless Huffman gets beat, WOS will play the winner. If Huffman loses and Cleveland wins, then Cleveland plays Silsbee and Shepherd gets WOS.  Either way, WOS should not have much trouble.  They would blow out Shepherd bad, and put a pretty good whippin on Cleveland.  The biggest difference is that Cleveland plays much rougher and dirtier, and might cause WOS some issues with injuries that would hurt them later in the playoffs.  They tried everything they could to take out Coldspring players last week.
You really think Cleveland hurt the player on purpose? There was no intentional injury caused. Can no one hit hard or play tough with the All Mighty Trojans without being accused of playing dirty?
3. Which Cleveland football player was on the news for a scandal or crime? Don't base your opinion of Cleveland kids on something that someone in the past did. I am sure there was a murder of some sort in Houston tonight ... Are all Houston residents murderers? Get over yourself. As for the injury . . . It most likely occurred during play. It's football, it happens. I hope the young man heals and is able to return.  if he gets the chance to at college ball, I pray he is able.
4.
I miss the old Astrodome and Rice Stadium days......early rounds you could pay $5 and watch 4 games......good times
Hopefully that is coming back with the new turf at Reliant although the price will be a bit higher now-a-days.  Can't wait!
5. Both teams are pretty good and look even on paper.  I will go with Center at home in this one.
6. Could be a good game . . . depends on Kountze and whether they have the basketballs out or not.  The Lions have a tougher time to get in than the Panthers.  Still, I think Kountze has pride and God on their side.
7. UFC is struggling right now.  Too many fighters hurt so they are over-hyping less than mediocre events.  I am not paying the 50 bucks to watch Spike rated fights.
8. Good news - I love to hear about the older generations still competing athletically.  Means there is still hope for me to be great one day!!  LOL
9. I never thought I would see this day . ..
10. I am game!  Definitely on my bucket list!!
11. Well, I see you have re-emerged Mike.  Good to see you - Believe it or not, I have missed you. I want to play a game. . . . . .  HA HA HA HA
12. Hello Michael. You have logged in for a couple of years to this website to state your predictions only to sit in the shadows and observe the posted questions and comments of others without response. You log back in on Saturday's only to gloat about your successes but show no remorse in your losses. Today you will swallow your own self-pride as mother nature has created a wrath on southeast Texas which will in turn create unforseen turnovers and lost footing. Your predictions will suffer and in turn you will suffer. . . .your time is coming. You have murdered people in Haddonfield by your own force for years. I in turn have never killed anyone. Instead, acting on their own instincts and fears the victims have killed themselves because they cannot think under pressure. Sound familiar? Watch your back Mike, I think you know where this one is going. . . .
