Not saying they had a weak schedule because all you can do as a team is beat your opponent! But who on their schedule this year and in the playoffs so far could compete with kennedale, madisonville and wimberley?

Oh okay that is a decent argument but have they played a team that is competing for a state title in a higher classification? Have they faced a 6 foot 4 prolific passer with 3 1,000 yard wr’s that beat the almighty cuero (who was most peoples pick as state champ)! Let’s not forget we’ve already played a team that runs this same offense the same way in the post season! Madisonville threw the ball out of that offense impressively but it wasn’t enough! They think they are the most physical team left lol we wrote the book on being physical! Our db’s hit like most teams linebackers!!! Gonna be like Christmas, but instead of bells it will Be silver helmets doing the ringing!!!!

So are you saying the stangs would have given up 121 points in the 2 games that were cancelled due to Harvey? Lol I’m confused by how they are considered even to you...but everyone has their own opinion!

This matchup right here is what makes coach t an absolute genius for scheduling the kennedale game! Both huge, both fast, and same offense! Oh by the way, same results ;)!

Y’all are seriously delusional!!!! Why are y’all calling the Texans world beaters? What have they done? Wow beat cuero...how many times have we done that the past few years??? Last time I checked these same wimberley Texans lost to a team that finished 8-3!!!! Which proves they are beatable, so why wouldn’t the back to back champs be able to do it? Y’all are talking about these dudes like they are the patriots or something...pump the brakes!!!! Yes the qb is a great pocket passer, but in none of the film I’ve watched on them have I seen a team play man to man and pressure the qb! The stangs will definitely do that! Also they give up 20 points per game and seem to have a defense that gives up a ton of rush yards which is our strength! The mustangs will win! No prediction necessary!

The only thing that matters is a team found a way to beat the texans already this season and I’m confident the mustang coaches and players can do that also! Nobody has found a way to beat the mustangs 39 straight games! Our boys have found a way to pull out a win every single game so far this season...some pretty while others were ugly, but in the end had the same result! The mustangs find a way to keep the streak alive Friday night!!!!

I've gotta say that in the scrimmages from what I hear silsbee has been the least impressive team, out of the usual playoff teams! Buna seemed to play better against newton than silsbee did. I know it's just scrimmages but maybe the silsbee fans shouldn't crown them district champs yet! They do have to come to Dan hooks stadium this year😜!!! And once coach t says who the starting qb is and the starting rb James plays rb all game, our offense is gonna put up tons of points! And the defense well is still the chain gang! Man I'm glad football is back lol P.S. maybe silsbee should play some schools at least the same size as them!

Lcm was shutout by orange field this week. And they also gave up 21 points to them. If they didn't score on the bobcats, I don't expect them to score on the stangs, especially after coach t decides who the real varsity team is.

The Rattlers had 171 yards in the first half while the Mustangs had 166. So don't act like we wasn't moving the ball on y'all! Take away a couple of our turnovers and we have ourselves a totally different ball game! ;)

Wow y'all are never satisfied huh? Your team won the game and is moving on to the next game...so why would it be any of your concern what our coach says after the game??? MOVE ON!!!

Look dude y'all won its over lol but you don't have to lie to yourself! Y'all had all the starters in the entire game and was going for it and throwing it on 4th down in the 4th quarter!!!!! And all but 1 of the wos turnovers was on 1st or 2nd down!!!! When the 1st turnover happened we were driving all over y'all! Never even got to 3rd down and then he made a terrible throw straight to the linebacker lol our offense was having lots of success when he wasn't turning the ball over! But whatever you can believe what you want, at the end of the day y'all win we lose and that's all that matters!! P.S. coach t never said the better team lost, just that we beat ourselves! And with 5 turnovers and 80 yards of penalties is pretty justifiable!

Y'all are taking what coach Thompson said and making it something else! Go back and watch the film! We were constantly driving on navasota and then shooting ourselves in the foot! Yes navasota made us pay for the turnovers, that's what great teams do! They scored 24 points off of turnovers...add 80 yards of penalties to that and that's what happened! Coach Thompson was right on the money with what he said! I'm not saying the mustangs were the better team. Just wish we could have seen how it would have been if we didn't have the worst game of our season tonight.
