Yes we ran a few different types of offense! Including our opening play which hayne took to the house for about 80 yards! We know it was hf that we played but i am satisfied with the play calling and the execution tonight! Only a couple penalties tonight and the offensive line looked good! We will know how good we really are come playoff time! But over all we played really good tonight offensively and defensively!

Well how about this? WOS played in brookshire royal a few weeks ago and that is a 2 and a half hour drive for us and we had 3 times the amount of fans as the home team lol not too bad huh?

This is terrible! The player who is suspended from the team is one of my good friends! It is ashame what he is currently in trouble for! But he is confident that after the board meeting monday he will be reinstated to the team! From what he told me i do not see why HE would be the one in trouble! It isnt even a school matter!!! Parents need to understand that kids are gonna be kids!!

And only time will tell what the hard work will do for us! Lets go get em stangs!!!

I expect it to! Especially after what i seen out of practice this week!

Well i said they some of the players told me that cause thats the only ones that i spoke to! And to be honest i think the high preseason ranking got to these kids heads! They acted like they had the district title won and were already in the third round of the playoffs! Now they realized that you have to work hard to win football games!

Wow! i really cant believe some of ya'll on here! We come one dropped pass away from beating a good silsbee team and all of a sudden ya'll think we are gonna lose to everyone! I think the boys are not only playing for wins from here on out but also to get back the respect we had at the seasons start!

lol im pretty sure the mustangs first 2 games we played pretty darn well! But since then we havent been the same except for a lil bit of offense against brookshire! But like i said silsbee played good enough to beat us and they did fare and square but dont put down the stangs like we suck!

And my last comment on this blog was not meant to take anything away from the tigers beating us! they fought hard and deserve theyre respect! I was just stating a fact for mister 33!!!

Man people love the fact that the stangs actually have a couple losses this year! Ya'll are so happy to see us with 2 losse that you actually dont wanna see us do good! Pathetic! And yes its true i have been to both practices this week and we are running an option offense pretty darn well! We have the qb under center with a tailback and 3 wideouts! The slot goes in motion on every play with a triple option! We break it for huge runs and also throw pretty well out of this offense! We definately have a very fast offense when used like this! obviously still a working process but so far so good!

33 you must know absolutely nothing about football lol The mustangs are still looking for the right offense to run under a new oc! This is the way yall should all look at it! We played an absolute terrible terrible game and still had a chance to win it! That says alot! Any other team around here has a terrible game against the tigers and they get blown out! FACT!!!!!

This team still isnt close to clicking at all cylinders but they will be soon i guarantee it! And when they do we will see what all you people say about them not being as good as years past! Once the OC and the Offense get on the same page we will be the same power ouse stangs as usual and i expect lots and lots of good things from this team real soon! The stangs will no doubt shut all you doubters up! And ill take that to the bank!

Ok its not one persons fault! It was a loss that includes the players and coaches! No matter what play the coach calls it is still the players job to execute that particular play! And their have been some weird playcalling so its on the players and coaches as a whole! Cant blame either one in a loss! Just gotta accept the defeat and improve!

Im looking forward to the rest of district for the stangs! Some of the players told me they feel ashamed and kind of embarassed about being the first team to lose in 21 3a! and said that they are working harder than ever and gonna play harder than ever! They have me fired up for the rest of the season!

Yes nelson is a beast at d end! He has the rare combination of speed and strength! Just a great athlete! For the next few weeks we will be without him and our nose guard terry rubin due to injuries!

I think at the end of the year every team in 21 3a will have atleast 1 loss! but its still gonna be silsbee and WOS at the top with i think the winner of the bayou bowl in 3rd place! But again thats just my opinion.

Sorry but kirbyville really needs to stop celebrating a 1 point loss to wos thats embarassing! lol But back to the stangs now! Yeah we lost our first ever 21 3a game to silsbee! And yes our offense still looked terrible! But we still got 4 more games before playoffs start and got time to make the correct adjustments! We still have to get everyone healthy including our running back lindsey still isnt 100 percent! But all we can do is get better! I think the offense will get in a better rythym in the next few weeks and look good heading into the playoffs! Just keep faith in the stangs and they will eventually come around! We always do! GO STANGS!!!

Not taking anything at all away from the tigers win! But ya'll scored off of our fumble in our own territory and cause we roughed ya'lls kicker! So both of the tigers scores were off of our mistakes! But i credit ya'll for capitalizing! But like mustang02 said in another post! The mustangs have to change something offensively!

I look for the mustangs to work off of our good running game and fight hard for a victory this week! Ive talked to a few players this week and they have said that the offense has turned it up and they are looking good and just cant wait to play friday! Expect a good game from the stangs this week folks! stangs by 2 touchdowns!

Man the fans in jasper are hilarious! Our offense at WOS was just not even close to beig on the same page! We have ran different types of plays every week! Thas what happens when you have a new OC! Ya'll can seriously get over the fact that ya'll beat WOS! The team isnt panicing not one bit and is very anxious for the next game! The fact is ya'll planned for us for 2 weeks while we were in a dog fight with kirbyville then had to try to get ready for ya'll! I personally cant wait to play ya'll again! Ya'll should just take the victory and be satisfied, because rubbing a win in the mustangs face isnt the smartest thing to do! And for the jaspers awesome defense comment ya'll gave up about a million points to gilmer! Not so awesome!!!

WOW! mr brick i can honestly say that your an idiot! lol WOS has more speed than any team that they will face this year! And probably more speed than anyone in the state in 3a! It's just what we are doing with the speed that makes us not look as fast! We have 3 guys that run sub 4.4 40's and none of our skill players run over 4.7's! And remember we have the second fastest kid under 18 in the united states in trey franks! We just have to find the right ways to get them the ball to show off the speed! We are still trying lots of new things right now! But this offense will put up huge numbers when they were out all the kinks and settle in!

The offense is just flat out not in sync right now! Had snaps flying over the qb's head and being snapped before the qb was ready! Also lots of dropped passes and fumbled snaps! We got down to the 3 yard line and didnt put it in the endzone! Just flat out terrible offense tonight!

First of all congrats to the bulldogs tonight ya'll played well and beat us fare and square! The WOS defense kept us in the game till the end! It just looks like here lately the offense is just riding the defense backs and then trying to score points and win games in the 4th quarter! But you cant do that against good football teams like jasper! We did everything terrible on offense tonight from the play calling to the execution to the dropped passes! just ugly!!!!! THe only one who did everything right on offense in lil #43 he caught all the passes he could and ran well! But we must step it up on offense as a team! And there were a few weird waved off penalties that didnt make sense! But bottom line is WOS has to get the offense going! Congrats bulldogs and i hope to see ya'll in the playoffs!!!
