I nearly had a panic attack this morning. I was on my way to work and I keep my season tickets in my truck console, and I decided to check to make sure I had my vidor tickets in there. Well all my tickets are clipped together with a paper clip. I check the stack, and no vidor game tickets to be found. So I pull over and empty out my console lol. Found em! They became loose and fell out to the bottom of my console. I thought maybe mytwocents had sabotaged me!

PNG first and then Nederland. I've seen PNG fill up half of the dome. But some Ned folks were there in support too ;) . I think if Vidor continues to build and doesnt slide backwards, they will bring plenty of fans. But for now PNG is king and Ned is second.

You picked against the Dogs once and were wrong. You've got this one wrong too. This pick just hurt your percentage ;)

Well you said there would be no Vidor fans on the visitor side right? If that's the case then there shouldn't be any problem since its "not allowed". I am being a little facetious, I fully expect to see a couple of Vidor people on our side. It will just make the victory that much sweeter when they had to endure the hoard of bulldog fans celebrating.

Again, as I stated in the other thread, I don't think Vidor ISD did anything intentional to try and screw Ned fans. But when Nederland ISD requested more tickets, Vidor should've sent them. They are our tickets after all. Makes no sense to sell them at the gate rather than early, it's quite dumb actually. That being said, I will make a scene if I see ANY Vidor fans on the Nederland side.

[/quote] A rivalry typical involves both schools. But if it will ease your pain over there you can consider us a rival and we will just consider you another game on the schedule. This is nowhere near a rivalry for Nederland. And I too hope Vidor gets the ---- beat out of them. But not because of the ticket thing. Im just tired of hearing about how great they are.

Here's my best guess: Normally, not all season ticket holders buy away tickets if the game is in Vidor. Knowing that this game will probably decide the DC, probably most, of not all season ticket holders bought the tickets. Therefore, it appears to be less tickets given to us ahead of time, when in reality, we (season ticket holders) bought them up ahead of time. But, they still should've sent more when Nederland requested them (which I know they did).

[/quote] Are you for real? I seriously doubt it will get moved. Too much money for the home team. If they haven't moved MCM (13,000-15,000) to a neutral site, this definitely wouldn't be moved. It's normally not a big game, but it has District Championship implications this year, ergo a lot of people want to attend.

The standard procedure seems to be for the home school to send more tickets if the away school is low the week of but Vidor wont. This is coming from a reliable source at NISD. Someone who handles these tickets. Just wondering... Is this Vidor's homecoming?

Ok I got to the bottom of it. Vidor only sent over a certain allotment at the beginning of the year and Nederland sold most of them to season ticket holders. The remaining tickets is what NISD has to sell because Vidor won't send anymore. Not sure why they won't but there's your story.

AP is a lot more accurate in my opinion. Angleton dropped to #7 on the AP poll with Nederland #8. Still think Angleton is better than 7 though. Nederland at 8 is probably about right.

Luckily, I got mine when I picked up my season tickets. I have a hard time believing this is true also, but I have a family member who is a retired teacher from NHS so I will see if she's heard anything. IF this is true, Vidor screwed up BIG time....

1. Nederland 2. Vidor 3. Ozen 4. PNG It's tempting to put LCM in the 4th spot but I'm not going to buy them after just one nice win. They may be better than predicted but they are going to have to prove it. I would rather put a struggling PNG team in that 4th spot who's proven they can get there.

Give me PN-G... This game could be over if the L-choo choo hasn't completely de-railed and pulls off an upset. Lots of injun picks this week. PNG hasn't proven much either, but we shall see..
