Be careful guys.. Lumberton has nothing to lose. Can't let up on intensity because I guarantee you lumberton wants nothing more than to knock off the top team. That being said Nederland wins by a big margin but I think it'll be closer than the central game. Jags gave up too easy. Raiders wont IMO. Nederland - 31 Lumberton - 10

Lumberton will bounce back I think. Growing community over there. Nederlands success has always come from coaching and preparation, not blue chip athleticism. This year we have a lot of above average athletes added onto the great coaching staff and voila. It's not that I don't think we've been talented, but injuries can plague your season and really make it an uphill battle. Anyways, I think getting a good coach and hanging on to him is key. Neumann has a lifetime job as far as I'm concerned. On a side note, not sure why vidor fans on this board are so persnickety. You have a good season going and you will earn more respect if you let Friday nights do the talking about how great your team is. Just because YOU feel like the team isn't getting enough respect doesn't mean people should have to post something new every day about how awesome vidor is. Finish it now. Get to the playoffs and win a game or two. You want your defense to be compared to Nederlands? Ok well after you've played everybody in district (mainly PNG/LIV) then we will have a fair comparison. Goodluck to lumberton, vidor, and the rest of the district for this season and beyond. if you want a winning tradition, you have to start somewhere. One or two seasons of a winning record or playoff appearances don't get you there if things go back downhill shortly after.

Wake up Vidorians it's 2011! You do realize the coaches agree on the chapter right? Like when we played Livingston or PNG it was a Dallas chapter. Don't start coming up with excuses this far in advance "just in case you lose." I hope PNG stomps a mudhole in Vidor just for that attitude. Show them why mid-county is always highly respected in the playoffs PNG!

IMO the worst thing Central could've done last night was come out and try to run right at Nederland. I don't know if the coaches were trying to build confidence in their offense by trying to quiet the noise about this Ned D or what but it was a nightmare of a gameplan. Once Nederland got up by two scores, Dandy Don was already singing. I think Central just kind of went through the motions after that. I saw no fire or intensity from them. Dogs dominated in all phases of the game. We need to get Odgryziak back soon. How long is he out for?

Wouldn't it be amazing for a MCM 2.0?! we could have it at Lamar! Anybody know what round that would take place in?

I would take it one game at a time.. Playoffs are tougher than district play.. Plus vidor has a few really tough district games coming up.. I would like for vidor to make it and make some noise..
