No reason to hit the panic button yet. Does there need to be personnel changes? Probably, but I'm just another person with an opinion. But replacing neumann isn't the answer.

[/quote] You explained my point perfectly even though you don't even realize you did... You look for the other team to play dirty but you have selective vision. If PNG loses a close game, then the other team cheated, or they played dirty, or the refs were terrible. Its never that they got beat by a better team.. I'm not saying all PNG fans are like that. I have personal friends who support PNG and will admit when the team gets outplayed or outcoached.. But regardless.. You made my point..

If we were all equal, then we would all look the same, nobody would have birth defects, and we would all have the same iq.. Its only my opinion though. Everyone has their own.

I don't think anyone is trying to make it into a 'racial' thing.. I was just pointing out that its not completely mentality that dominates athleticism.. Yeah its a big part but genetics is also a factor.. The claim that 'God doesn't make one race more athletic than another' is false..

"Remember the Titans", To me a team that has all races will succeed the most. What I mean by that is, it should be equal across the board, no dominate race. Those are the teams that dominate on a regular bases. I hate the term more "Athletic"  What is that? Do you people think God made one race more athletic than the other? [/quote] Well actually that's incorrect. African Americans have a high ratio of fast twitch fibers to slow twitch fibers. Fast twitch fibers are better for things like jumping and sprinting.. Their ratios are something like 90/10.. Whites have about a 50/50 ratio...

The blame for me lies on coach barrow.. For years now, when something is working, he goes away from it and does something else. Can't blame carson, he wasn't ready for that pressure.. Barrow shouldve left sonnier at qb whether it was the wilddog offense or regular spread offense.. I wish anyone could explain to me why barrow left raines in there on the last two drives when he couldn't complete anything all night... If someone can give me a logical reasoning behind it, then I will admit I'm wrong.. And I also can't believe neumann didn't step in and tell monte to pull carson.. But barrow has a history of choking in the playoffs.. If you've followed nederland closely, then you know what I mean.. This was like vintage smithson valley or bay city playoff games.. Just can't understand why you don't put the ball in the hands of your senior leader.. Instead you rely on a sophomore qb who is scared to death out there, and understandably so..

Edit: not worth getting frustrated over.. Every year ots the same story.. Shouldn't have expected more.. Good luck seniors..

Nederlands getting screwed on the officiating and Neumanns letting them know it at the half.. I haven't seen a game called this poor in a long time..

I am getting conflicting answers on this... What has to happen for nederland to make the playoffs? I thought all they had to do was win by 3 or more points.. but does Vidor have to lose to livingston also?

I don't know about ranking.. But look at the round two game in 2003.. Richmond-Foster had a hardcore running back that put up ridiculous numbers all year and coach spell put a scheme together that stopped him in his tracks... Very memorable game..

Guilty as charged.. I criticized two plays.. The first field goal attempt and the fake punt on 4th and 7 from our own 27.. Everyone around me in the stands shared my sentiment as well.. Does that make me an armchair quarterback? If so then sign me up.. I never once questioned our players will to win, nor have I called for the firing of any coaches.. Coaches have bad games just like players do.. Second point, yes I picked png to win.. Why wouldn't I? We were huge underdogs.. Many nederland fans expected png to win.. But I can tell you this, at 7:30.. I was one of the select few that was screaming and barking their lungs out.. Most of the ned fans sit there in complete silence.. So call me an armchair qb, but never question my support for Big Ned.. Go Dogs!

Not to be a cynic, or a hater... but if the nederland coaches keep blowing it, its going to be a long year.. PNG wins this one by 14.. Other nederland fans may hate me for that, but it is what it is.. They are who we thought they were and png will be who we think they are..
