Dont blame that one kid for the game... He made several catches throughout the game that were crucial for LCM... To blame him for the loss is unfair to him... LCM had plenty of other oppurtunities to increase their lead... To say that Nederland is 'one dropped pass' better than LCM is unfair to the receiver and unfair to Nederland... At the end of the season, look at the records, who each team played in preseason, and stats, and then you can say how better a team is over another....

Yeah... this LCM VB person likes to run their mouth a lot... even after getting beat last night....

It would go to points if say PNG had beat Nederland... Cause Ned beat LCM, but lost to PNG, but PNG lost to LCM....

I am still doing research on the PA System thing... But I think most of you will find this interesting... Here are the UIL Regulations on Sports Announcers.... Must not be enforced, because lots of schools break this rule... GUIDELINES FOR SCHOOL SPORTS ANNOUNCERS The primary function of a school public address system is to convery pertinent information about the game. Announcers are not part of a cheering section. They should never incite the emotions of the spectators. Information should be given with the same tone concerning both the home team and the visiting team whether they have made a touchdown, or scored the winning basket. The announcer should remember at all times that the sole justification for his function is conveying simple, straightforward, unemotional information.

Mike, your posts are right on target... Watching the talent across the state from some of those teams is fun to do.. And this year, 22-4A doesnt hold a candle talentwise to some of those teams mentioned...great post... Maybe the Orange County fans will close a lid on it...THE STREAK CONTINUES!

It wasnt so much the announcer... I thought he did a great job... It was when they played that beginning beat to "We Will Rock You"... it was played very loud during several of Alex's snapcounts... Not hard feelings about it... I was just curious if there were any rules about it???

If that happened in Nederland, then I would be disappointed, but we like to show class.... I dont ever remember circumstances like that happening at Bulldog Stadium

and as far as playoffs go... we still have work to do to get there, but dont worry about how far we will get.... we've been there before, we know how playoffs work...

LC-M played a great game... and stopped Mosley in the first half tremendously... great job... But in the realms of football, it doesnt matter how well LC-M played or how well they stopped Mosley in the first half... The scoreboard says it all.... and thats in any game....

Can anyone clarify the UIL rules on PA systems... LC-M was playing very loud and obnoxious chanting noises during our offensive plays and I thought that was against the rules?? maybe I was wrong... I was disappointed in some of the sportsmanship from LCM tonight... That whole thing, along with several Nederland cars being painted with LC-M stuff, and the timekeeper not taking anytime off at the end of the game... and the cheap shots on Mosley toward the end of the game... I was kinda disappointed in all that... Anyways... any clarifications on the UIL rules??

thanks LCM VB.... we do have a lot of things to improve if we are to be successful in the playoffs.... I do think we make it past the first round(most likely New Caney).... we still have business to take care of in 22-4A though... cant get ahead of ourselves
